It's a shame zero stars isn't an option

Renters beware: Brompton Courts is the armpit of the community. The other reviewers were not exaggerating when they spoke a complex infested with cockroaches that's run by rude froshboys in ties and hapless maintenance workers who probably don't know how to change a lightbulb. During my entire stay at Brompton, I complained about the same issue multiple times. It never got resolved, or even addressed. Office staff rarely answer their phones and it's even more of an anomoly to get a call back from them. Those on-the-ground maintenance workers spend their days socializing instead of fixing the burnt out lightbulbs and patchy concrete job in the parking lot. The walls are so thin that you can hear your neighbors breath. There's always loud music and obnoxious conversation coming from the pool areas. Forget about living your life in peace here -- it will be disrupted 24/7 but the hundreds of drunks Brompton accepts as tenants. And if all this isn't enough, Brompton inexplicably continues raising its renting fees, and adds ridiculous extra fees on top of that. For example, even though most of us have dumpsters right outside our front doors and are perfectly capable of throwing away our own trash,Brompton tacked on a mandatory $25 trash fee to each month's bill so that our garbage can be collected. There are plenty of nice buildings in the area, but Brompton is not one of them. Stay away, for your own sanity.
