We just had an burglary here in Bromton Court Apt. while we were out of town for three days. Police officer who helped us said there was one happened just last week.We asked at to the manager why nobody was informed and she said nothing happened last week. I asked are you going to notify people about burglary in our apartment so that people will beatleast be alert and she said we don t do that. IN TEXAS it the LAW that the Management have to tell there resident's there is a Crime going on I have had really bad experience with them. Oh, nasty leakage from trash, smelly hallways, and cigarette butts and ashes are ALWAYS having to be walked through on our way to our apartment! ------
Be careful, they LOVE to tow cars here! We've had 2 of my daughters overnight nurses towed! A LOT of crime in the complex but none of the residents know about it because the management never informs the residents of it. They said their policy is to only send an email if there have been 4 of the same type of crime in less than one month. They do send emails immediately if a resident's dog or cat is missing. Take a moment and consider their priorities. Lost dog? Sure let's send the email! Theft, which could potentially harm other residents? you will get a Email from once there had been a lot pipes broken most of the month... a while leting you know the water will turn off and the water will be turn off so the city can fixs broken pipes No need to inform the community. Parking sucks, too noisy, definitely not a safe place (there have been many criminal incidents over the past months)
the staff is the worst (rude, unhelpful, and incompetent)
don't get tricked into living here!! it may inside look nice and the outside sucks but this place sucks for the rent!! Along with worrying about your car and household belongings, you will also live there worrying about your safety and sanity. The office staff has been constantly lying about fixing things and the owner is cheap and don't want to spend the money to upgrade the property, cleaning up;. Though the police is always called there, they have a history on public records of rapes, robberies, apt and car burgularies, car theft, there been a lot CRIMES going on now I am just letting you know Just watch out when you move in to Brompton Court APT.
if you choose to live here anyway (I know, the low rent and good location make it seem inviting) it's safest to choose one of the units opening onto the courtyard. When you tour the complex, look around and see how many units have 2 deadbolts on the outside of door. All of these units have been broken into and burglarized. This is the response you get from management when your unit gets broken into. They will Charge you about $50.00 to $75.00 to change your lock or fixs your door or if the window is Broken they will will charge you after your apt after it had been broken into. I really want residents be aware of security threats and be aware that burglaries and rapes are happening next door...
THey even increase the rent at the end of the term by ridiculous amount. Don t get fooled by there nice lakes, which are never cleaned and it smells bad.
This is just ridiculousness.the benefit of the doubt & went to talk about my lease increase. They confirmed mine and several other comments on how they will always increase your rent when your lease comes up for renewal.
I was told ??It is only a $25.00/month increase ?? I said YES over 12 months $785.00 total. Last time my rent went up to $980.00 $160/month $2400 total over 12months. So in a span of 2 years my rent has increased $100.and there is TRASH FEE, GAS & WATER on your monthly Bill.
$100.00/month and a total of $4500 extra Do not worry your RENT Will GO UP it depends how is the market price is . And it will go up .And you think it will be low when you moved in just wait when your lease is up just wait and see how much it will go up. Reviews posted previously are correct
The staff in this apt. complex are very obnoxious. Instead of trying to compromise with tenats on problems they instead tell people if they don't like what's going on, that they need to move.
The management here is horrible. They are rude and unhelpful. Corporate is the same way. And Bromton Court get new Staff about every few months this place is a Training for new Management .(NO Staff stay here that long)

but a search of incidents on HPD's website shows anywhere from 10-19 burglaries a WEEK.. In God Words in heaven it the truth about Brompton Court Apt NO LIES it the Truth Again GOD Know whats going on and it the truth.... And BBB took them off of Bad & worst place to live in .. this place was Built in 1971.....
