I have lived at Brompton Court Apartments for 4 years and for the firs two years things were fine. If you live near a pool area, it can get a little loud on the weekends due to people playing music and loudly talking, but it doesn't bother me. However after two years into living here my apartment had water damage due to an exterior leak. The walls started to bulge and fill with water near my fridge and I had a lot of mold issues. It took maintenance a whole month to clean the mold and fix my apartment. I asked repeatedly for them to fix it and after a lot of effort I had to get my Dad to threaten them. They fixed it right away. Smaller things started malfunctioning around my apartment. THe kitchen light would not turn on anymore due to an electrical issue (not the light bulb). They never fixed so I ended up learning how to deal without it for a while. My tub at one point kept randomly filling up with back water from the pipes and almost flooded my bathroom. Someone actually came out immediately the day it almost flooded over (finally!). Then months after my first mold incident storms came through and the leak reappeared in my kitchen. It was worse this time. It flooded my kitchen and black mold grew. I could smell the mold in my apartment. Someone came out the day I asked them to, to look at the damage. They said they would get to it soon. A week passed, I asked them again, another five weeks passed and after me asking several times, I finally told my father again. He called and they fixed it right away. I guess you have to threaten people. Customer service is horrible and the place is falling apart. You could end up lucky and maybe get an apartment that will suit you or you will end up with an apartment that gives you a headache. And don't expect the staff to help you out even though you pay a hefty rent fee for how old this place is. I would never recommend living there.
