There are some nice things to say about this place, but I won't say them because I'm writing this review as a warning; they'll say enough nice things when they try to get you move here. The place would be Ok if it wasn't because it's so freaking old it's falling apart. We've had 8 maintenance emergencies since we moved here, some of them pretty bad (part of the ceiling fell off due to a pipe breaking...it was pouring in my room). The maintenance guys do come fix things and try their best, but things just keep breaking: pipes braking/leaking, the kitchen zinc, the dish washer, the washing machine it's been very annoying. The biggest problems are related to the ancient pipes in the property, so be prepared for some water damage. We moved to this place in April 2012 and meet some very nice neighbor who been here for 11 years and she told me she see this place being sold many many times and she told me they rise her rent up to $200.00 and the haft of the things had not been fix s inside her apartment.
I read some reviews before moving with the same issues and thought they couldn't possibly be true because the place looks well kept, but I was wrong. The sole advantage of this apartment is the location, for the price, it is the least terrible you can get in the area, and that alone may make it worth it for some people; I don't regret living here but I can't wait to leave. And I'm not trying to be funny. The whole management team is a bunch of LIARS don't believe a word that comes out their mouth ..
On top of everything my room is darker than a cave; with a small window that faces an hallway and lets no light in, you'll have the winter blues all year long.
If you can't afford anything else and hate traffic more than you hate your place flooding every once in a while, and you absolutely must be in the area I guess you'll survive, but if you can We be Moving out at the end of April we just can t stand this place anymore they dig up holes to fix s the broken pipes and they have not fix s the hole it been liked for 3 months and had not cover them up yet We came here then our place was $845.00 a month For one Bedroom Apt. then they had rise our rent up to $100.00 more.. And they had Rise it two times and we just can t take it anymore we try to get it lower but they will not Negotiate with us and they told us we do not do it here at Bromton Court Apt.. They are asking more Money from Us. And I just learn when you moved out they will not pay you any of your deposit that mean you will not get anything back after you sign a lease with Brompton Court apt. that why everyone keep Moving out of Bromton Court Apt. they will not Negotiate they just want more Money out of you. Bad Place to lived .n avoid it, do. Brompton Court was Built in 1972 and it only OLD Place on this Street. Please NOTE Everything I had Wrote is 100% TRUE.
