I have lived at Brompton Court for a full year and just decided to renew my lease for another year. I have lived in several apartments in Houston and Brompton is the first one I've signed a second lease at. I found Brompton after apartment hunting all day with little success. As soon as my sister and I saw the apartment, we immediately felt at home. The complex is older but has a lot of charm. The floorplans are very spacious and well laid out. When we moved in, the apartment was in very good shape (ie clean and in good repair). Over the last year, we have only had to call maintenance for a few minor repairs (dryer needed a little help) but someone was there that day and we didn't have problems after that.
The office staff has been very helpful and personable. They have always answered my questions in a timely and professional manner. I feel that they also keep up the community quite well. New plants and benches were recently added that look very nice and the pool is spotless throughout the summer.
This is by the far the friendliest community I have ever lived in. Not only do I know my neighbors, but they have become very dear friends. There are a number of people I can call at any time to watch my cat, help me move furniture, or just hang out with me. I feel very safe here and have not had any incidents. I know that there have been a few car break ins but management has always left prompt messages on my door/ email reminding me to lock doors etc.
Overall, this has been a very positive experience for me and I would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to live in a great area at a reasonable price.
