The location is perfect for living and working in Houston. There were a couple of auto break ins inside the complex (just the one parking garage I know of) during the rodeo and queries about increased (or any) security went unanswered by management. There is plenty of covered parking available for residents and guests. The floor layout is perfect. Very open. Although the kitchen in our unit is rather small. The laundry is not coin operated, it is done with a card swipe. Several of the machines have obviously been tampered with and should be avoided. Both of our credit cards had fraudulent purchases on them shortly after moving here and using those machines. There are still plenty of machines that look intact. The on site convenience store is only open during very restricted day hours, which is nice if you are home during the day, but if you want something in the evening it's not available which was a shock. Be careful to avoid getting a unit along Braeswood as the traffic noise is always very noticeable, even on the second floor. We never hear our neighbors at all though. You are definitely paying for the location and not for nice things at this apartment.
