Because it was a reasonable price in the neighborhood I wanted. Also, I used an apartment locator who suggested this location and offered an incentive to move to this location. When I first came to look at the apartment, the previous manager was friendly with guests as well as his employees instead of being completely separated from the residents. I liked that he seemed approachable if I ever had a question.
