Let's Be Fair.....

The majority of Management was very fair. They were fair at letting us pay fees that were still owed when we ended our lease early and fair at taking care of our complaints while living there and fair when we left. I do agree that there were a couple of the people in the office that should have been sent down the road packing.<br><br>Two things I advise. <br><br>First is to read your lease agreement, it is usally the same as any apartment complex and then ask what is considered normal wear and tear, each complex could have diffrent meanings. <br><br>Second is to take care of your apartmet. Don't let yourself, your animals or children; "which can sometimes be one in the same", tear up the apartment and you won't incur any extra fees....<br> <br>Maintenance was always as prompt as could be expected. They were mainly dealing with spoiled college students that were not taking care of the property and who should have been sent packing along with those couple of people that was in the office. <br><br>The couple of the management staff that was the problem was of the same age group as the students in the complex. They knew nothing of customer service or manners and would come off as rude and not concerned.<br><br>If you as a tenant do your part to not act as a spoiled child and be reasonable with your maintenance requests, then maintenance and also the majority of management will treat you with respect. Key word here is "Respect", to get it you have to give it.<br><br>The rude tenants also need to quit treating the shuttle bus drivers like they are their own personal servants. There was one gentleman that my wife and children grew very fond of. I always called him "Sarge". Talk to these folks like you are talking to a friend and you may make a friend for life.<br><br>So remember that half of the complaints you read here might be legit while the other half are from a bunch of spoiled children that need to grow up and tell mommy and daddy that they really don't want to go to college/Med School and be bums and always have someone else foot the bills. <br><br>So stop being a person that causes problems by either whining when they don't get there deposit money after leaving your apartment like a pit, These people were always trashing the grounds every time they would go to and from their car. <br><br>Yes, I was the type of neighbor some of those spoiled children didn't like and No I am not some mean old guy I was in my very early to mid 30's<br><br>If anyone has a problem with what I have said well tuff! Grow up and call it for what it is and start making the part of the world were you live a better place. <br><br>We plan on being back the summer of 2008, if the price is still right and they have an opening....<br><br>If you want to say Hi, you will probably find me either in the pool with my wife and kids, Jogging around Braeswood Bayou or having a beer with my Kosher Godfather...<br><br>There are those that want or need to be there and then those that have to be there<br><br>We wanted to be there.
