It's been fine for me

I live on the third floor and like any apartment complex, I've had some issues but overall it has been fine. I've lived in worse so I guess I'm coming from a different point of view. Cons: The one complaint I do have is maintenance. Most of the time they come when called but sometimes I have to call in a second or third time to get something fixed. The one constant problem I have been having the 2 years I've been here is a foul smell when I turn on the AC. They've come in to spray it but it returns. It doesn't need deodorizing, someone needs to find out what the source of the problem is. I'll call in another one because the smell is still there. When I have guests over, they definitely notice the smell and it is embarrassing. The other complaint are the rent increases. They are not small, so let's just keep it at that. And then there are some other things like the repair on the roof and the water shut downs and the elevator repairs. They are irritating but hey, that's apartment living for you. Pros: I have been late on my rent at least twice due to financial difficulties and the management was more than accommodating. They charged me of course BUT they gave me time to get my act together and they were not rude about it. The complex is quiet all of the time and the area is nice and very close to major hwys, med center, grocery shopping, museum district, etc... The complex is zoned to a great school, Twain Elementary which is my main reason for being here. I have had no vandalism issues (but I don't own a luxury vehicle and I live on the third floor)so that has been great so far. I recently had a rodent die in my apartment walls and the problem was taken care of very quickly. The manager was very professional and very concerned with getting my problem fixed quickly. Overall the complex is fine. It is not the Taj Mahal but it is fine place to live. The management has been nice, the complex is nice and I haven't had any major problems with my living experience here. Hope that review was fair. Thanks
