Maintenance always responds super quick and everyone in the office is super nice and courteous. When it was time to renew my lease the girls were super helpful and everything was fine quick and painless. I love this quiet, beautiful community.

Haven't been here long and I love it, the location is great, everything is pretty convenient and the staff is friendly and things get done in a timely manner.

I wish I could give negative scores. They make you sign saying there aren't any bed bugs. Full of bed bugs. Lease says they accept packages. They don't and have lost over 200$ worth of shipments to me. Staff is rude. Pools never are open/or working. Laundry room smells like rotting filth and has wasps and cockroaches. Avoid at all costs. The office personal are the absolute worst. I can't wait to leave this hell hole. Not worth it.

These apartments are awesome! I didn't have any noise problems. The maintenance people came out and fixed what you needed within one to two days. Fantastic staff.

I love living at Shadow Creek! It is such a quite place with nice neighbors. I see that the owners are starting to do work around here and it is looking better all of the time. Great price & good place to live.

school is starting, and our pool STILL HAS NOT OPENED. The management explained to me that there was a problem with the perimeter of the pool, and it was a problem LAST YEAR as well. That means, they had ALL YEAR to correct this problem, and they did not do so. The fact that we have had a triple digit summer, AGAIN, and can not use our pool due to the laziness and the lack of care from the management. I can not wait until my lease ends.

Wonderful!
My husband and I loved living here and I would highly recommend this complex to anyone. The office staff was always friendly, any work orders we placed were fixed in less than 2 days and even after we moved out we had no hidden charges. We were so sad when our lease was up. I mean they are older apartments so the walls are thin but thats to be excepted when you are looking at older complexes. Overall, It was a very enjoyable year. : )

ROACHES!!!!
upon moving in a week ago, started noticing roaches in bathroom and kitchen. They dont seem to care bout this issue. Wishin i would have looked a while longer for a better place. yea this place is cheap but there is a reason why. they dont care bout their residents bug problems. we have never had roaches so this was a previus problem the didnt share with us. DONT MOVE HERE!!! KEEP LOOKIN!!

Nice Staff, but some issues...
Overall, I think this is an ok place for the price. The maintenance has up till this week been fast to respond. I think I just have a bum apartment right now. My living room kept getting wet from the rain (gutters were clogged). So waiting onn week 2 for them to unstop the gutters (they had to outsource). Not to bad a problem because maintenance has been trying to repeatedly address the issue. My porblem has perpetually been ants. Add to that the joy of having our motorcycle stolen, and today my car broken into. I would say it is a fine place as long as you secure your vehicles. I just wish they could do more for the ants! (Repeated exterminators they supplied, but they always come out of any of our electrical switches,and outlets. But again the staff is very friendly and does try to do all same day repairs as possible. Problems Noted
The complex is pretty well kept. The staff are nice. There is a definate problem with ants in the bathroom and kitchen. Neighbors leave their trash by their door instead of following the rules and taking it to the dumpster. You will always have the lazy neighbors who care about no one but themselves but it is a part of the lease that trash not be left by the door. No one wants roaches or ants so this is one of my complaints. I would like to see some action taken against those repeat offenders. This would be nice. If there are rules then they should be enforced or not placed in a lease agreement. A community is only as nice as it looks.

horrible nightmare
I have never lived in such an unprofessional place. First of all the ground keeping is horrible. There is always pet feces everywhere you step, you really have to watch where your feet are placed. The management is horrible, they claim that the apartments are in tip top shape, but there is countless holes in the floors. I am always scared that we will fall through to the bottom floor. Finally the office has hours that are very incovinent, on weekdays they are open from 10:30 til 6, saturday from 11-5 and sunday from 1-5. When the office is actually open not one of the three members of staff are inside. The staff claims that there is not any crime here, however last weekend there was a gun shot that went off in the middle of the night and a fight right in the middle of the parking lot. Police officers appear to constantly be here.

Should Have Kept Looking!!!!!!
I haven't seen any real changes! I looked at the photo's on web site and would really like to know when these were taken! I have been fighting a cock roach problem for at least a year and have had no help. I have addressed issue with management every month and was informed I could get out side help and pay for it ! It is my problem, not theirs!

I have applied here but not sure if I'm going to sign a lease. The office staff told me I could have the apartment I wanted for 699 then when I came in person they denied having a unit for that price and told me the rent was going to be 735. They also didn't tell me about the app fee. Over the phone they were saying they would email the application and I could just fax it in, yet when I came in person they wanted 40 bucks per person. Their app fee is high and they charge a $50 admin fee on top of that. I guess you have to pay out the --- to live in a white community. No one is living in the unit I want yet they want money to let me start moving in a day early. (no place to put my stuff for a night) Every other place I went to said they would help me out, since no one is in the unit anyways. Didn't act like they appreciated my prospective renting with them. Not liking the experience so far.

Good at First But Cant Wait to leave
I have lived here going on 2 years and my lease is coming up! I have lived here long enough at first i loved it. but now i just want out of here as soon as possible. i had a bike stolen off the second floor balcony and i asked the office if they were having problems with it and they said no ofcourse! my electric bill is around 300 every month which is ridiculous for two bed and bath for one person living here! i called the office about it asking for them to come see if theres something wrong with the ac or something and all they said is i have to turn off all the lights! then in the middle of the summer the ac broke and we had to get another one! ever since i have lived ehre there has a been a constant banging on the wall and im guessing its the pipes! i can hear every little sound outside people talking car doors kids playing ANYTHING!! the water bill keeps going up every month! the office staff is really nice and i will miss them but the price for a place like this isā¦Ā See More>anonymous

Truth and details.. Not the best, but not the worst
The complex is older, floors are uneven and jours tend to fall off, the vinyl flooring in the kitchen and bathroom are lumpy. I did however get new appliances when i moved in so that was a major bonus.Maintence is well about coming, and because its an older complex the rooms to me seem to be bigger. My biggest complaint is the crime. Its not the complexes fault but definetly needs to be considered in the thought of the surronding enviorment. They require you to get renters insurance and they're smart by doing so because in my one year stay, one of our cars were stolen (literally the whole thing) and another vehicle broken into and had the stereo taken. Both a good and bad feature are the surrounding shops, tons of fast food and a walmart are extremely close, but because Rufe Snow is such a busy road there are constant sirens going off from ambulences and all those stop lights add to your timed drive in the morning, but this is dfw "what do you expect?".
