I have lived at The Haven at Blanco for about 9 months. I was just moving to San Antonio and knew no one. Every member of the office staff was warm and welcoming. They give the feeling that you are part of the family and that was what I needed. I have a one bedroom with a patio on the first floor. There is enough room for me and my little pups. Beautiful grounds and lots of doggy doo stations. In fact, they are building a huge dogie park for the complex -- complete with picnic tables and wash stations. The maintenance staff keeps everything up to "snuff." A simple call or service email and it is fixed right away. Oh, and who can forget the valet trash removal. Just put the container outside your door and by bedtime, it is gone......wonderful!
It is quiet and the neighbors all seem to treat The Haven like their home....no trash blowing around and exteriors are all clean and the breezeways are blown and/or washed at regular times. I am out a lot at night for meetings and it is comforting to know that there is security that keeps the property checked.
The blinds on the windows are lovely and really don't need curtains. The windows are huge so there is plenty of light.
It is wonderful to have a complete kitchen and a large laundry room with full-sized appliances. I didn't have to buy w/d or microwave/stove/fridge.
When I was looking for an apartment, I went to about 10 before I chose Haven at Blanco. Living here, close to just about everything....short drives on 1604 or 281.
Even though we are in the middle of civilization, because of the gated landscaped grounds, one feels as though they are in a mountain retreat. The Haven at Blanco is perfect!!!
