My boyfriend and I moved in May 2017 and haven't had many issues other than noise. We live towards the back and the leasing agent who showed us the apartment, Jennifer, said the new construction next door would be complete in a "couple" months. Here it is a year later and they're still banging all day in the new complex. Not Ventana's fault, but I wish I wasn't mislead so that I would have picked an apt closer up front. Also, if you don't pay for the gate remote, you'll have to go all the way around the property to get to the other side since only the main gate is free with a code to get in. Not very fair to half the property in my opinion. These apartments are pretty old so expect to hear your neighbors. I hear mine flush her toiler above me and walk around all night. Also, the foundation is shifting big time because of the new apartments being build next door. We have huge cracks all around the apartment walls. Maintenance has always been nice to us and pretty fast. Leasing office crew isn't bad either. A couple of them seem a little snooty but hey, it is what it is. Oh, one last thing that is a big con: valet trash. Not once this entire year have I used valet trash, frankly we don't want to wait for our trash to just fill up for 3 days. it's 30 extra a month and they don't let you opt out. Dumb idea. We are moving out next month because we are moving to Austin and either way they increased the rent to 1050 for a 1 bed. You can find cheaper apartments out there honestly that are the same.
