This apartment is hit or miss. Many of the issues may be beyond the control of apartment management.
I think most folksnot managementhave disregarded COVID safety. I would like to go to the gym, but I have only see one person in the gym with a mask on. How can obstinence and ignorance be policed?
Overall, security and satisfaction seem to have diminished and these are issues addressable by management. Gate malfunctions, mulitple events of stolen mail, the broken mail gate, questionable maintenance quality have become common.
Random crime has increased. I never thought I would have to worry about my vehicles, but now I do. Lot of folks have nice rides here too, as do I. Will this become an issue in the future? Further, I would hope management is doing more about the recent criminal activity more than sending out a message about getting to know our neighbours.
Broken front gates do not help this issue. People rolling in unabated through the front exit gateI live in Building 3, so I witness this daily. Not only is this dangerous with counterflow traffic, but this gives anybody access.
Granted, this is not the bougie luxury apartments like The Vance or The Mark, but La Ventana is not exactly cheap either. I expect more for the price. If I wanted ------, I would live across Huebener or on Woodstone.
Yes, issues happen in high traffic areas and management addresses them eventually; nonetheless, the cumulative effects cause one to question the livability of La Ventana relative to price. Overall, my experience has been good at La Ventana, but I am concerned for the future.
