We've been living at Ventana for just over a month now, and we absolutely love it! From the beautiful, old oak trees to the hidden walking paths and green belts, we're in nature heaven. The complex is a light away from I-10, but the trees do a great job at making it nearly impossible to hear any traffic noise. Our unit is a bit older, so we've had a few issues related to that, but nothing so terrible that we've ever felt like we made a mistake in moving here. Plus, maintenance was able to fix everything in a timely manner, and even installed a longer light cord in the bedroom for us to make our lives a little easier! The complex is just as pet-friendly as advertised. I was absolutely blown away by the amount of dog-waste-stations that have been installed on every dumpster and in grassy areas. At other apartment complexes, I've found that they'll only install a few that are extremely spread out, which usually discourages people from picking up after their pets, but here, I almost never find dog poop that wasn't cleaned up. The grounds are meticulously cared for, and you can tell that the complex really cares about maintaining the natural landscape, which is really rare to find in the city. All in all, we absolutely love living here, and the few family and friends we've had visit (because, you know, COVID and all that) are always blown away by how homey the complex is. Truly a hidden gem, and for a great price point!
