I have been here for a year. When I first moved in&#44; it was clean peaceful&#44; and safe. As I have lived here the trash around the dumpsters never seem to be cleared out. Trash over flows onto the street. The sewage backs up and it has an awful smell. When I renewed my lease May 5th it went up 200$! I tried to renegotiate&#44; there was no if and&#39;s or buts. Just 2 weeks later I return home to find my home broken into and robbed. Come to find out 5 other apartments in my unit have been robbed the same exact way the same month. No body in my unit received any letter or notice bringing the dangers of these acts going on&#44; warning us to take extra precaution. Thursday May 24th was the day I was robbed. The other robberies happened earlier in the month. Now finding out this has been going on in almost all other units. They do not care about the safety of their residents even if they jack up the price 200$. I regret renewing my lease. Who would renew if there were multiple robberies in the same building let alone all over the complex. What do they do with residents money?

It started out good

I&#39;ve lived here for three years and cannot wait to move. Garbage is EVERYWHERE and the rent is too high for the age of the apartments. The only thing good about these apartments is the location. There is a mold problem in the apartments and when asked to have the repair it&#44; they do patch work. Everything is CHEAP. Not worth the money. Don&#39;t come home after 7:00 p.m. and think you&#39;re going to find a parking space - NOPE! And if you want a parking spot&#44; you have to PAY for it! And the washer and dryers provided are from 1985 - NOT EFFICIENT.

So far we have been very satisfied with our apartment at Villages at Kirkwood. We have lived there for 7 months now. It is large enough and receives a lot of light, which is important to us. The complex is quiet, safe, and mostly well kept. Maintenance calls are taken seriously and resolved promptly, even they replaced the refrigerator by a brand new one on 2nd complain about the ice maker. Admin staff have been always kind and willing to help with a smile.  Amenities are just what you get used to expect - a basic gym & pool, dog area. Landscape well groomed. Parking space could be better, but I think that is a common problem in communities alike. Location is a great factor: close to supermarkets, good restaurants, movie complex, stores - while Murphy Rd with all kind of service shops is just around. Quick access to Alt-90 and 59 makes your trip to Sugar Land or Houston a breeze.

This community is very well maintained and the staff is very friendly. The neighbors are also all so friendly but there are some who don't keep track of their pets potty. But overall the apartments are well maintained themselves.

The apartments are nice, older but well kept. The rent is high with many fees you can not avoid. Staff is nice. Overall I give this community 5 stars. The area is clean, quiet and convenient to stores

The apartment I was shown is way nicer than the apartment I actually moved into. Upon move in there are quite a few things that are dirty & damaged. Upon looking at the resident portal it seems as if they have a roach/ant problem & I have seen roach bait/gel since move-in. I am confident that they will fix the issues. Other than that, the property is well kept, secure, quiet and I love the smart apartment technology.

Landscaping well maintained.
Quiet, inspite of the traffic. Well lit up in hallways and walkways at night. Security is not provided as advertisement and Potholes need filled throughout the parking lot.

I'm unhappy on the speed of which service or other tenant issues are resolved. Also upset when water changes occur due to unplanned fire department testing or usage and no bulletins are announced. The front desk should arrive to keep tenants aware of any changes that occur before or after their normal work hours, and tenants should expect to receive a notice of ANY water changes.
