I love my apt. I'm on the 3rd floor, overlooking the pool & courtyard. I love the arches in the living/dinning room, as it gives an 'open space', yet makes the rooms appear separated. Staff is friendly & efficient.

I have enjoyed living here. Maintenance response is quick and very friendly. Grounds are well maintained. I feel very safe here. Office staff are very friendly as well as most of the residents. Plenty of parking spaces for visitors.

Great price (per square footage) & amenities for someone looking for a 55+ community, & great landscaping. Housekeeping and maintenance is excellent. Fitness Center could use more equipment. Outdoor activities could use improvement, like horse shoes or bocche ball.

The facilities at the retreat at Wylie are exceptional. But even better than that is the incredible staff. We really like living here. We have made many new friends here. Management keeps everything running smoothly. Weekly events are a definite plus. Building and grounds are well maintained at all times. Maintenance workers are very responsive to every need. Management is always very responsive to residents' needs.

The Retreat at Wylie is an ideal place if you want peace and quiet in a clean environment. The grounds are kept neat and clean, and the staff is very attentive. They have plenty of activities planned throughout the week which makes the experience fun for everyone. The people who rent here are very kind and polite. I truly recommend!

This community is great! There are plenty of games that can be played. The activities are very nice. The swimming pool is nice also. We are conviently located to many stores and restaurants, many can be walked to.

The retreat is a great place to liive and to retire at. The office staff are the greatest &. knowledgeable people. They will answer all of you questions. The maintence staff k eep the grounds very clean and any repairs are done quickliy and effiecientally. The residents have many activities they can partipate in such as exercise groups, playing games or doing puzzles, Bible study, playing pool, etc. The swimming pool and BBQ area are great. All of the residents are very nice and love to meet new people.

I have been an apartment dweller for 40 years. The staff at The Retreat/Wylie is among the most skilled, professional and compassionate. The Team treats the tenants as "community" and that is refreshing. Maintenance is handled expeditiously and extenuating circumstances are handled respectfully and with a great deal of dignity. Most of our community is elderly so these small touches makes this more than an apartment ... but a true home. I do think that Zina and Jeanne are probably underpaid for the bologna that they have to navigate dealing with a senior clientelle and sincerely hope that their value is both acknowledged and compensated. It has been mentioned among the community the reason many/some remain as long term tenants is directly because of the respectful yet professional care of the staff.

Management company still has a lot to learn about 55+ ACTIVE Adult communities. Berkshire lacks policy consistency at this stage. They will get better as time goes on, they continue to improve each year.

Very good. I have many friends and acquaintances. I feel safe and secure. Staff is kind, friendly, and helpful. Tenants are friendly. My apt faces the courtyard and there is always a nice view. Things are kept neat and clean.

We have been at the Retreat of Wylie for almost 5 years. We love it here. It is safe, quiet and secure. We love the pool and hot tub and the walking path inside of the gates all around the property - great for exercise and dog walking. Great staff with planned activites each week - exercise, games, etc. Monthly they have entertainment - music, karoake, social houts with drinks, etc. They also have holiday gatherings. It is so close to shopping, restaurants, etc that you can walk to them.

We have been here 6+ years and we realize that the pandemic has had an impact on the complex i.e. hallways that the corners are damaged we have not seen any effort to correct that. We consider this location as our current home and we want to be proud of it when we have visitors.

Not enough money is spent on this property. We finally got the front looking decent. I had to call about the entrance to my building. It was horrible! It doesn’t seem like money is put into the place the way I expected. I’ve lived here for almost 4 years, and the only update you all have done is the new pool furniture.

Retreat is good community to live at. With friendly residents and very furry friendly. Everyone trys to hlp their neighbors. Watch out for each other. Close to hosp, drs, returants, shopping ect. Maintenance here is excellent. Clean surroundings. Although I do not participate much thy hve gatherings in dining room from games to entertainment . Gated community, I feel safe where I live.

The residents are friendly and the amenities are great. I especially like the variety of activities and events that are varied and diverse. Lovely place to live, lovely residents who quickly become friends. Leasing Management is always available and responsive. Property Management is hands on and is always working to enhance the courtyard, pool area and public areas. The maintenance crew is spot on, friendly and responsive.

Retreat at Wylie is an attractive, clean, nice community; has a variety of activities, plus a friendly staff. Also, I enjoy my neighbors and other residents in the complex. Moving into an apartment after living in a house with an attached c=garage after over 50 years is quite an adjustment.
