Dont live here.
I have been living here since June of 2004. I have never experienced the type of problems that this building has in any of the numerous apartments I have previously lived in.
In the middle of the summer during the hottest week, the air conditioner broke for a week and it was 88 degrees in my apartment for 5 days straight. I could not sleep in my apartment and slept in a hotel for 2 nights, and a friends place for the other nights. The managers basically said "stuff happens" and would not give a rent discount for that month even though half of the apartment building was unliveable for those 5 days.

The next month, the fire alarm was set off during the middle of the night by workers and the building needed to be evacuated.

The next month, I noticed there was not a smoke alarm in my apartment so I requested one. The next day, when the smoke alarm was installed, the worker installing the smoke alarm broke the lock on my apartment so therefore I could not get in my apartment when I got home from work at 6:00. My keys and cell phone were in my apartment and I was forced to sit on the floor of the hallyway for 2 hours why the building engineer and then the locksmith tried to unlock my apartment.

I am a full believer that the amount of money you pay for rent should reflect your quality of living. Rent here is not cheap, and the quality of living is.

The tenants are all of an older age and are very nice and the building is always quiet. The desk attendants are always friendly and say hello every day when I get home from work.

Management however is horrible and does not take responsibility to things that go wrong in the apartment that are their fault. If somehow the building caught on fire, I would imagine I would still have to pay rent for the next few months even though I had no apartment.Share This Review
