Very Comfortable

I have lived here for a few years now, and I can honestly say that any problems I have had are normal problems you would experience in any rental (ex. backed up sink - it's a highrise, that is going to happen anywhere, maintenance will snake the drain, and then you're fine). I don't have any problems with the daytime front desk staff, however the security guards overnight are pretty much a joke. It's like having emergency lights on when you leave the office, just a decoy. If you treat people with respect, they will treat you with respect, and if renters keep in mind that employees are people too, you will likely have better luck. I agree however that the property manager has absolutely no people skills and should stay away from this type of job. Not having a washer and dryer is a bummer, but if you plan it right you can figure out the best days and times to do laundry without having to fight for a machine, and generally people are pretty curtious about sharing that space. The fitness room is almost always empty, and I have never had to wait for a machine - they should add a few machines though, or at least update the older ones. The parking is GREAT for Arlington, with a covered garage and deck spaces. The additional charges for those spaces are very low for the area as well, and one is already included in your rent. Having utilities all included is also something that I love about living here, it's much less of a hassle, makes your monthly costs lower, and it's a lot easier to budget yourself without changing utility bills. This place has NO rodents, NO bugs (except lady bugs like someone else mentioned, but they are seasonal and always just on the balcony until a stray wanders in when you open the sliding door). This is amazing for this area if you look around and see how many places struggle with these problems. The apartments are large, have great closet space, big kitchens, location is fantastic because the commute to DC is easy without paying to live on top of a metro stop. I am happy here, and won't move out until I have to.
