2200 is a great place to live, the residents are friendly and the staff is really prompt and friendly. The only complaints I have are that there has been Renovations going on throughout the building and things take a really long time to get finished. Another complaint is that it always takes a long time for the air conditioner to be turned on, it's usually not turned on until May. That is something that's really annoying because it gets so hot sometimes in March and April and its really uncomfortable. Also the laundry room needs to be updated as soon as possible because the the washers and dryers are sometimes (usually a lot of times) out of order and it's not enough in my opinion for a whole building of people to have one laundry room with only like 10 washers and 6 dryers. Overall I think 2200 is a very convenient place to live. There is a grocery store in walking distance, there are shops and parks in walking distance, and it's very close to downtown DC. The convenience of 2200 is really why I foresee myself staying for another couple of years and if those issues that I stated above are address then I will definitely stay until I buy a house.
