The mamangement at 2200 is absolutely terrible.  They&#39;re rude and terribly inefficient.  The apartment builing smells of mold at the back entrance&#44; the laundry facilities are poor&#44; and the gym is a joke.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Other issues?&lt;br&gt;1. you have to have Fedex call you before the building will accept a package.  isn&#39;t that part of the reason for living in an apartment building - for the amentities?&lt;br&gt;2. you will be charged $100 per lost key when your lease ends.  nice revenue generator&lt;br&gt;3. you will be charged $120 if you don&#39;t shampoo your carpets.  gimmie a break.&lt;br&gt;4. it takes a month to get the pro-rated portion of your last month&#39;s rent back....and your security deposit.&lt;br&gt;5. they&#39;re in the process of redoing the kitchens and bathrooms of the units.  cheap construction.&lt;br&gt;6. the pigeons....good lord&#44; they&#39;re all over the place.&lt;br&gt;7. the power goes out at least a dozen times over the summer.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;And&#44; Marita (manager) is the rudest woman I have ever met.

Rude and Inefficient

2200 Columbia Pike has been an excellent place to live. The apartments are spacious, the community is friendly, and the rooftop pool and view cannot be beat in the summer time. I wasn't sold on living in Virginia at first, but I'm glad I moved to this building.

Besides the obvious - location great, large unit, etc.  it's the quality and service that rains supreme.  Kelsey & front office team & engineers are off the chart amazing.  I consider myself lucky to live here.  They are all so kind - it's almost like family.

I like my apartment and I love the community. It's a great location as well. Weary nice personite that helping to keep building in good shape. I like the fact that a lot of transportation around and parking that owns by our building.

I have loved living here. The location is perfect, I love the views from my balcony, and the price per square foot can't hardly be beat for a building that also has the amenities that 2200 has, like locked entry, pool, gym, on-site laundry, balcony.

I am a Google Local Guide and I rarely leave bad reviews, but I am writing this one to warn others about 2200 Columbia Pike Apartments. I lived there for several years and recently moved out, but the property manager Miss. Destiâ€¦. / company has refused to return my security deposit. When I moved out, I had the apartment professionally cleaned and it was inspected by the property management associates. They found no damages and said that All good. However, a few weeks later, I received two emails from them demanding payment for cleaning and painting. I have lived in this apartment for over 5 years and I have always kept it in good condition. There is no reason why they should be charging me for cleaning and painting. In fact, the only damage to the apartment was caused by their own AC unit, which caused water damage to the paint. In the living room and in the master bedroom under the AC return you can see a lot of water damages, we asked them to fix it but they did not. I have video footage of the move-out inspection. I am confident that I will be able to fight this charge, but I am warning others to be aware of this property management company before they rent from them. Here are some other things to consider before renting from BMSmith 2200 Columbia Pike Apartments: The property management company is not responsive to maintenance requests. 1, The parking lot is not cleared after snow storms. 2, The trees on the property are dying. 3, The property management company does not take off their shoes when entering apartments with young children. 4, Building amenities are often reduced or limited. 5, none of the urgent issue addressed timely manner. â€¦â€¦â€¦. I hope this review helps others to avoid the same problems that most of the residents have had with 2200 Columbia Pike Apartments. I request and ask them to reconsider it and avoid a backlash. Everything has been well until last month we started having problems with mice.
That's the only thing that I can say about it. I have been living here for 1 year and a half and We have enjoyed our time here
