The longer you stay here the more you get screwed

When you first move in here they treat you as if it means something to them that you choose their community for a home. After a few years they increase your rent, raise the water prices, and take away the incentives to stay. People moving into a 2 BR TH can get the TH for $1,795 per month and someone living there for 4-years is paying $1,995. They focus on keeping every unit full, not their tenants being happy. If you decide to move here make sure you really understand how you pay for water because you DO NOT pay for what you use. A single person living in a 2 BR pays more for water in a qtr than a family of 4 living in a house both in FFX area. "And" Yes Energy can add whatever fees they like, as often as they like and since you are tied to an unbreakable lease...they have you. Too many people with barking dogs too make this a very noisy place to live, not to mention the thin walls which let you hear your neighbors pee...if you plan on staying here, consider what you will be paying in the future so you can plan accordingly.

    Tysons Glen Apartments and Townhomes
Dear Anonymous, Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences here at Tysons Glen. We value our residents' input and will certainly take it into consideration when looking for ways to improve our community. Many things go into the price of our units. These include square footage, floor level, and renovations mostly. A renovated apartment, depending on the amount of work done, may be much more expensive than a non-renovated unit. Prices will not be altered over the life of the lease, but you are subject to a unit price change at renewal based on current market conditions. In the current market, price increases are unfortunate but unavoidable. In our community, water is metered per building rather than per apartment. Because of this, what we do is take the total for each building, and apportion it based on both your total occupancy and square footage. Of course, this is not an exact science, but this is the fairest way to apportion water based on our current metering system. It is very important to us that our residents are comfortable and enjoy their time at Tysons Glen. If you would like to talk more about your experience, do not hesitate to call me. I will be happy to discuss any concerns that you may still have. Sincerely, Josh Conroy | Property Manager 703-893-7771
