Not at all what it seems to be........
If you visit the property please look past the smiles and pleasant phone manners. I have had to learn to live with mice, spiders, ants, centipedes, washing machines that flood my kitchen, refrigerators that leak, dishwasher that takes 3 hours to finish 1 cycle. But the worst of all is having to live with "MOLD". I have over $5,000 in medical bills due to the fact that my 5 year old son was having extremely bad reactions to the mold. Which was inadequately repaired. They did no testing no treating....they just caulked right over it.

My son currently stays with my mom, because I am extremely concerned with his health problems when in my apartment home. And I just canāt afford to keep rushing him to the emergency room every night. Nor is it worth the risk of the long term effects it may have on his little body. I get up at 5:30 am Monday thru Friday and drive to Dumfries Va., to get him ready for daycare. Then I drive from Dumfries to Herndon since that is where I work and he goes to school. This is truly an inconvenience to all involved in this very stressful way of life I (we) are having to live. Not to mention the wear and tear on my vehicles.

As compensation for these constant reoccurring problems, I asked to be released from my current lease agreement so that I may find adequate housing. My current lease is good until October 2003, and I will not be renewing my lease. There are only 3 months remaining on my lease. And of course TysonĀ“s Glen denied my request, stating a contract is a contract.

My recommendation wouldāve been to permit the resident to break the lease and move off property without any negative consequences. And hope for the Childs health to improve without any negative repercussions from the MOLD.
