I am a current resident here. I have lived here for about 5 months now and have been VERY disappointed in this complex. I chose this complex due to its very convenient location to not only my work but the interstate and shopping. With every place there are pros and cons. I have lived in many different complexes and this is by far the worst.
So far, I have not had any major run-ins with management that is a bad experience. When a maintenance has been put it, it has been addressed with in 2-3 days. Luckily we haven't had any major issues that need to be addressed sooner. The apartment layout is absolutely wonderful. I live in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath and me and my roommate live quite comfortably. The kitchen has nice finishes even though the floor and cabinets you can tell are a little cheaper but its an apartment complex so I understand that. From what I've gotten to use, the amenities here are also nice. The grounds are pretty well kept except the trash compactor gets over-filled on the weekends due to the lack of any up-keep on the weekends. The parking is also nice. There seem to be plenty of spaces for everyone living here and guests for when they visit. Those are pretty much the only positive things I can say about living here.
For the Cons: The insulation in this apartment is absolutely horrid. I can set my apartment to be a 70 degrees (during the winter) and will go into the master bedroom and it will be between 62-65 degrees! That is INSANE! I have had to get a space heater to be able to comfortably sleep in my own room! The living room can also get chilly but using a blanket is sufficient. The lack of insulation also means you hear ALL of your neighbors. I can hear my neighbors above me snoring and hear EVERY conversation happening in the stairwell as if the people are next to me talking. I can also hear the people in the apartment beside me talking and hear their music playing. The washer and dryer are high efficiency, however, the washer does not seem to be very good as I will pull out my 'clean' clothes and they will still have stains that should have definitely been removed during a normal wash. The neighbors here are very rude and loud. They act as if they are living in a house and not a complex. I have talked to management about this a few times in severe situations and their response is 'well, that person is moving soon, so the problem will be solved then.'
All in all, this place charges WAY too much for what you are getting. The apartment itself is very nice but the corners they cut are completely unacceptable. I cannot wait for my lease to be up to move somewhere else!
