The absolute-loudest and most-annoying place I have ever lived. My apt. home location has to be in the worst location of the community. There's always blaring noise and/or commotion going on at any given time of day or night. It's unfortunate that a relatively-nice apt. and overall well-kept community are overshadowed by constant noise and inconsiderate residents. There's never any peace, And it's not so much that life (noise) is going on outside (that's inevitable), but the fact that the thin, single pane (read cheap) windows make you a part of EVERYTHING that happens! You hear every apt. door slam (shakes the building), car door/trunk slam, people feeling the need to blow their horns multiple times just to lock their cars (multiply that x100, numerous times per hour all day and night no matter the time), screaming motorcycles, revving car engines, barking dogs, sirens, etc. It just never stops. It's like living over the busiest, New York City freeway all while next to a zoo. I call this place "Zoo York." Even the noise from the surrounding roads are a huge annoyance. The two main roads behind the community are long straightaways so they're essentially used as dragstrips. It sounds like Richmond International Raceway at night. All I can say is either look elsewhere or choose your apt. building location wisely! I can't wait to leave!
