WARNING !!! Infestation and MOLD

WARNING !! This post will be removed from rental office because they have removed honest post in the past. Recently I moved into building 5720. The apartment is infested with roaches. The previous tenant recently stopped by for a package and informed me there was mold in the bathroom from a ceiling that fell in while she lived in the unit. In addition, after living in this apartment for less than 2 weeks, the kitchen sink remained clogged for 9 days. I have tried to reach out to management and the corporate office. I have been told the building is old and there is nothing that can be done about the roaches or the mold issues. I have not been offered another apartment not mold remediation services. I am a single mother with a 1 yr old child with respiratory issues. If anyone would like to visit my apartment to see the infestation or the mold, please contact me at prior to renting this location. I have provided pictures and written notice to the property manager and my rights continue to be violated under the Virginia Landlord and Tenants Act. Please share and avoid this location. Again I am happy to open my unit for inspection as I am unable to live there.
