The convenience of the location is hard to beat. Not even a 5 minute walk to the orange line/bus stops from the furthest unit, grocery store on the bottom floor, dry cleaners and restaurants below, Mosaic district is half a mile down the road, it's an easy drive to either Fairfax or Tysons or Arlington, and it's only 10 miles outside of DC. The apartments are updated and modern, plenty of soft-close cabinet space, a few different floor plans to choose from, and maintenance is friendly and helpful. Concierge is always there, they're installing Amazon Lockers soon, they have Parcel Pending lockers for other packages, and security is great with key fob access for apartment entrances, elevators, parking garage, and individual units. Elevator is reservable for move-in/out, and each floor has trash shoots and recycling nearby. The amenities are nice and clean, they have two gyms, two pools, lots of community space, and have regular community events if you're looking for that. The apartments facing the metro parking garage and 66 have a lot of noise coming in from the highway and the street below, even from the top floor. Dogs, leaf blowers, dumpsters being emptied, and cars on the highway/street below can all be heard even with the windows closed. The glow of the parking garage lights is also pretty intense at night, even with the blinds closed we had to get blackout curtains for the bedroom windows. The convenience of the metro and being close to so many things comes with the drawback of the orange glow of the garage and noise from surrounding area. If the unit didn't face 66, I don't imagine I'd have anything negative to say about it. You can find other apartments around this area that might have larger units for similar rent, but in my experience they often aren't as nice and definitely aren't as conveniently located.
