It's only been a few weeks. So far it's fine. The street pick up and delivery curve is not safe for walkers/wheelchairs. There is not a wheelchair ramp of any kind in front of the building. This is unsafe, which is why I rated this a 2.

The only social I have been to was an ice cream social. I heard about it from another resident who happen to have extra bowls and spoons. But when I got my turn to choose my ice cream I got rudely turned away. The staff member also rudely told the nice lady with the extra bowls " don't you dare give any a bowl or spoon." A man who had his bowls but not his spoon was also rudely turned away. So much for a social ice cream social. I respect all staff members We as resident need also to be shown respect by all the staff member. Some of us may be forgetful. We range in age- 61 into our nineties. GIVE US A BREAK!. My one complaint. SBG 750.

I have no problem with Destination and I pray it remains that way, it suits the mature ones like myself who wants peace and quiet, nothing is perfect and sometimes things will happen but I know that Destination will handle the situation as best as possible.

It’s a beautiful community. Tons of activities. The management are all really nice and easy to talk to. I love it here and will hopefully be here for many years to come. It’s just one big family. All the apartments I’ve lived at people don’t want to be bothered. It’s a quick hi and that’s it. Not at Destinations. Everyone is friendly and deal to each other. It’s old school and I love it.

I've only been here for a couple of weeks, but things have gone well so far. Randee has proven to be very helpful with any of my questions. The maintenance guys responded quickly to a request. And the other residents have proven to be very friendly.

Amazing wonderful staff they went above and beyond when my cat was stuck in the wall they without Hesitation came up with a saw and opened the wall and got my back my cat with me and saved his life I really appreciate larry

Neighboring business on east side starts work at 5-6 AM, very noisy, crashing junk debris, back up beeps from trucks, idling motors. Continues until 9-10 AM. This was severely downplayed by staff when showing us the unit. Otherwise, very pleasant, quiet living.

Beautiful community both physically, the amenities and the social life. Love living here. Enjoy the activities and the many friends I've made.The views of Mount Rainier, Cascades, and Olympics from the Sundeck are outstanding. I enjoy my yearly gardening in my peapatch on the Sundeck.

Location is great for shopping and restaurants. Proximity to freeway makes travel quick and easy to destinations. Having mature residents who interact with each other in a respectful manner makes it a nicer community. Having outdoor spaces for lunch or a read or a sun bathe is essential for a good mood.

We had a big issue with the guest apartment not being clean at the imminent arrival of my daughter and family. It required a sudden clean up just hours before their arrival. It did finally get cleaned, so it worked out

I have lived here since it was a Shag community. Then Shag sold us to Grey Star and everything changed. We don't have meetings to discuss coming events, like all the painting that went on and all the decorating that went on last year. It's like we don't have a voice in what happens in our home. Then the rent goes up too much, we are Seniors and we are not rich. If you keep raising the rent in the high amount that you did last year then I cannot stay here any longer. Aside from that everything is fine.

Very poor management. IWe had problems with our electricity and we paid six hundred dollars to get an electrican. which was this buildings problem . It was changing a breaker. There is a lot of stealing from outside of apartments. They. have cameras but they dont. use them. Our water was not on until June. Managementi is too late. on getting things done.

When I moved in there was a very critical heath situation and I personally didn't have the opportunity nor the ability to compare communities. The apartment living area is very nice and I am very pleased by the graciousness of all members of the personnel, by the cleanliness, the maintenance inside and out, the activities, and the amenities. I am pleased to have kind and personable neighbors here. As time went by, I began to feel this was not a good fit. Most of my issues are related to my health diagnoses and either have not been addressed to my satisfaction but most are not controlled by management. Such as noise pollution from the Washington Power warehouse right outside my window, even as late as 11pm someone is pulling metal carts? from one end of the yard to the building itself. The smell of cooking food from eateries downhill right beside us all day long. I have mentioned to management several times about the black transport carts used for transportation such as groceries. I have lived at Destinations for 7 yrs. The management team we have now is the best! There are so many different daily activities if you choose to participate or not. If you are a private person they respect that. I truly feel they are looking out for us and continually finding different ways to enrich our lives .

Think this is a good experience living here. I feel safe when I am in the building which is important to me. Most residents I've met are also friendly & the staff is also great, Only disappointment is no carts ever available to use for real brief time when needed. I am not always able to carry all my bags when returning from the store from inside the garage. Hard for me to take two trips in a row all way from garage up to my apt & down again & never a cart available. I end up having to leave rest of my food in trunk of car since I'm not able to carry everything in the one trip. It is not fair to the majority of responsible people living here that are not ever able to use a cart for less than an hour. Management needs to crack down on this! The people that are hoarding carts inside apts have no reason to return them with no consequences. Maybe print a flyer & tape outside apt doors (not email) that all carts need to be returned to garage within 24 hrs or... These people need to buy their own… See More>
