Maintenance and Customer Service

Ryan did an amazing job installing a new shower head for my son and I. He was fast, kind and professional. Sunpointe Apartments have been amazing since the beginning. The office staff has always been kind and bends over backwards to make things happen. Love their follow up.

I’d like to start off with, the office manager Julie, she is very helpful & compassionate. She does her job correctly & thoroughly with the residents as her main concern. Management, maintenance & the owners have recently put a lot of hard work, time & money into the property. In the past year these apartments have definitely turned around! Any time I’ve had a concern & bright it to management, it was handled in a timely manner & professionally.

Great Place to live!

Ive lived at Sunpointe for almost 4 years this August. I moved here because I was in an emergency state of my life and they really worked hard to get me in quick. This place is by far my most favorite apartment ive ever lived. Julie and Ally are just the sweetest, if I ever need anything done they are there. The apartments are quiet, and the residents keep to themselves. Ive had nothing but a positive experience living here

WARNING! Noisy | Parking isn’t enforced | Pay for visitors

I have lived here for three years and they have been double billing my water sewer and garbage as you have to pay double for guest, yes you heard that right they double bill you for guest. Manager has repairs done at 7 am on Saturday just to disturb tenants. They rent to lowlife people so you have parking lot brawls. The apts are noisy as you can hear people talking in the apt below, high school kids gather from the school next door in the stairwells and smoke pot. Pools of spit in the stairwell. Dog hair and dander in the unkept stairwells , cobwebs and snails in the stairwells and everywhere along with dog crap in the grass. One trash compactor that is always broke as the owner is too cheap to fix it right. The compactor is always broke so you have rats feeding on the garbage stacked up out side of it. Rent increase every time the lease is up by $100 so you will be paying $2k per month in four years. Would never recommend renting from this complex. Noise between apartments is a huge problem. So don’t expect a peaceful living experience here. Packages have to be picked up at post office. No leaving at office. Beyond inconvenient.

I have enjoyed living at Sunpointe the entire time I was there. The staff are always friendly and very helpful. Maintenance issues were rectified immediately and completely. The staff was always willing to assist with anything and were so easy to work with. I will miss not living there.

I have lived here since 2015. I lived in a one bedroom to start and after a year, moved into a 2 bedroom. The staff, especially Julie, have been super accomadating since my first experience. There are other reviews about staff not being friendly on here but that is far from the truth. They are always willing to assist and happy to do so. I have had some routine maintenance issues since living here. They have an easily accessible online portal that you can enter your issues( mine was a door issue) and I got a call within 20 minutes of entering it for them to schedule that same day to fix it. Like any other apartment, you can have great neighbors or bad. So far, I have had great neighbors who are friendly and quiet. The grounds are kept immaculately and they have a strict pet policy of picking up after your animals and keeping your porches or patios clean and presentable. I love that I have an inside washer and dryer and big closets. And the only fee that is charged outside of rent is water, sewer and trash which is reasonable. Do not recommend living here for the following reasons: 1. Too pet friendly; there are issues with barking dogs at night and lazy dog owners that won't pick up their dog's poop. 2. Too expensive: an outdated 600 square foot one bedroom apartment for eleven hundred dollars in mid-2017 with a one-year lease to get that price. When the lease was up after a year in mid-2018, the price skyrocketed to twelve hundred fifty dollars month-to-month or eleven hundred fifty dollars with a new one-year lease renewal. 3. Too many noisy, low-life tenants. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of nice people here, but management should do a better job screening. 4. Too much trash/recycle: there are not enough recycle bins for the amount of waste. The recycle bins are always overflowing with stuff on the ground. 5. Too many extra fees. There is an extra fifty dollar bill each month for water, sewer and garbage that is added on. 6. Too many people moving in and out. You can probably figure out why that is by now. Staff is rude and stuck up. I'll admit was nice having my own w/d but it was not worth the cost of the unit. Called day after deadline to vacate lease (smart a$$es) notifiying me I'm automatically put on month-to-month. The next month they try to beg me to stay, I don't, and they skimp me on my deposit. Rip offs.

Lived here since mid 2016 to Jan 2017. Very peaceful apartment. I like the staff, they are nice and polite. My Apartment very spacious and has washer and dryer inside, never run into maintenance issues so far. I can not say enough about how quite it is during both day and night times.

Looking for a new apartment, one can be never to sure of really bad or great reviews. Here is what I found. 1) There office hours do not match there website. A sign on the wall says M-F 9-5. 2) I could not find the office staffed to see an apartment on several visits, often seeing a note closed for some reason, "training" or just telling you they will be back. 3). I decided to walk the grounds and talk to current renters. 4) Found several cars in need of repair or with outdated tags. 5) The garbage compactor area was a disaster, as it has no secure entry 6. By the garbage area there is a pole where a basketball hoop used to be. 7) The childrens play area looks old and dangerous 8. Several apartments had boards in their windows. 9) Not sure about window air conditioners as I only found 1 in a window. 10) They are NOT smoke free as they advertise, I saw several units with smokers on their decks. Management is awful. Very snobby and disrespectful. Even to an 84 year old woman who is a cosigner. my son ended up with MRSA and I got cellulitis after swimming in the pool. Just beware....they are snakes! They call cosigner and make up stories of dogs and men living in the apartment. They love to tell us that our building is still under contract so even the blinds they call the construction company about. They play nice and cool when showing then flip the script. Late on rent and they want 2 months payment or they'll see us in court. During this time phone calls are not returned and the office is ALWAYS closed. Don't rent here. They will eat you alive.

Talk about taking advantage of people and a situation this would be it. It's bad enough that rents have skyrocketed and you can't tell me it's the cost of business. Primarily you have home prices so high that normal people who would be buying them can't. Thus they are forced to rent. Which allows the management company to gouge your wallet. Many of the apartments have been remodeled. But during the last year of living here rent has gone way up,amenities of living here are better now but for over 6 months most everything was closed due to a remodel at the office, clubhouse and pool. They started in May, 2015 and were not done until early 2016. So all the promises to those who signed their lease a month or two earlier were negated by this construction. But who closes the pool in summer when most people will use it? They allow broken down, out of date vehicles to be on the property. People abuse the pool with more guests than allowed. Oh my, so nice and courteous to new potential residents! But once you move in is the moment they stop caring. Not only that but rent has been skyrocketing, they must think that these apartments are worthy of competing with a beach house in the hamptons when the doors are made out of cardboard.

They recently raised the rent for a 1 bedroom to $1000 per month. Our rent increases have been nearly $100 per month every single year for the last few years with no end in sight. $1000 for a crappy, 646 square foot apartment. We used to only pay 6 hundred something per month only a few years ago. How can they get away with this? Good people are being forced out to to help this scam they call a community. Who would pay $1000 dollars a month to live here? The deaf and blind is my only guess. The buildings are old and cheap. They literally go up like a match. It happened a year and a half ago. A small fire engulfed one of the dozen buildings so fast, no one could do anything. One man died in the fire. $1000 a month for a tiny deathtrap. Paper thin walls and floors/ceilings, too. BE WARNED!! Rent is skyrocketing at almost $100 a month per year!! Sunpointe apartments are not even close to being worth what the rent is currently at. $899 a month for a one bedroom... what a ripoff! The apartments are small. The living rooms are insanely tiny. The structures are old and cheaply built. Thin walls, ceilings, and floors. Very noisy. If a low quality apartment that is expensive along with huge rent increases is what you are looking for, look no further. I will not be signing a new lease. The close to $100 a month per year rent increases are such a scam! I hope for the sake of the current residents, especially the elderly that is left, that they ease off on all of these rent increases. It is just not right. They just remodeled the front office to hide the fact that the apartments are low quality to lure in new residents and portray a reason for charge high rent. By the way, who is leaving all of these 5 star reviews conveniently spaced two weeks apart? I can take a guess. Don't buy it.

Don't even!!! They are very nice and polite when you are trying to rent an apartment here. The day you move out they will charge you for damages you did not even know they exist! We cleaned our apartment thoroughly the day we moved out expecting a full refund. A week after I received an statement from them with 0.00 balance. Surprisingly, our final charges matched the total of our refund. When I contacted them they said everything goes through their corporate and they have no control on it.

I would not recommend living here. First when we moved here before summer the pool was open. The company decided to renovate the clubhouse, closing the pool for the entire summer. The workout area was also included. So all the amenities I was told about were absolutely worthless to our family. The office is closed early,opens late sometimes. My biggest concern is clutter on decks. If you look to the building next to the office its decks are unsightly and dangerous. If you have a problem with a neighbor, don't go to the office, you have to call metrowatch, their security team. The maintenance team is efficient. For a property that had a fire last year, you would think safety would be an issue. Old dangerous fireplaces in most units. Smokers are encouraged to smoke outside. BBQ's are allowed, some bottom units move there bbq to the grass. If you smoke or have a BBQ you should pay more rent. We will not be renewing our lease. If you live here make sure you have renters insurance.

Convenient, clean, safe, friendly. What more can I say? It's working out well for me thus far. Conveniently located near my favorite New Seasons Market, Whole Foods Market, my yoga class and several of my friends. So far so good and everyone including neighbors have been friendly.

I wasn't entirely sure about this place to begin with as I find the reviews on here to be a little suspect as they are all so suddenly positive after numerous negative reviews, they all happen to be about the same length, and they all happen to be approx. 2 weeks apart. I gave Sunpointe the benefit of the doubt and was not impressed. We scheduled a tour, and the woman very obviously forgot we were coming. While we were, one resident was in the process of complaining and another resident showed up to discuss moving out. The apartments themselves were cramped and uncomfortable. The staff member very obviously wanted to rush us out and didn't even walk us through the apartment. At the price they're asking, you could do far better. They were in the process of renovating another building: same size apartments with updated appliances for $100 more. Those were not available to show so I cannot speak to those. The area itself seemed quite nice and the grounds were nice as far as I could tell. The office staff are friendly and professional. Maintenance staff are excellent too. Grounds are beautiful, apts spacious though they differ from one unit to the next so be sure to look at the unit you will be moving into. Neighbors are quiet and friendly, busline goes by in mornings and is a little bit of noise. Also they have a lap pool, jacuzzi and one treadmill. Near a lot of nice restaurants and theatre, etc. Good location, on bus line.
