Unfortunately, the work done to the grounds here has gone downhill. I'm talking major projects like tearing out trees, putting in new outdoor stairways, tearing out utilized sidewalks and not replacing them, tearing out old pavement, not filling in holes after the projects, just leaving mud/gravel that turns into sink holes around the areas, and not caring about the multitude of areas around the entire apartment community grounds that have turned into mud pits along the sidewalks because of rain runoff, that I and my family have tripped into multiple times (except a very few they decide to fill in with riverstone, but only like one area a year it seems). There is only one groundskeeper hired for the entire community property, and he is also pulled to do maintenance requests and pulled to other properties, leaving ours for weeks at a time (he's wonderful, but it's out of his hands, they are going to loose him too). They need to hire at the LEAST 2 more maintenance workers for this property, because they are always behind. They also need to hire on at the LEAST one more groundskeeping worker for this property, and KEEP THEM BOTH AT THIS PROPERTY. Hire another groundskeeper for the other properties as well, each. The lawncare company they hire are dirt cheap and don't care about any lawn decor or florals/plants or property left outside anyone's apartments. Oh, how about SPEND THE MONEY TO REPAIR/REPLACE THE ROOF PROPERLY ON EACH BUILDING. This place is loosing GOOD TENANTS, and replacing them with not-so-great neighbors (loud, throw trash around and don't pick it up, don't pick up dog messes, smoke ANYTHING on balcony or outside of door while neighbor's window's open, and then get told by management that it's not a smoke-free apartment community YET, so smoking is allowed in and around their apartments, not friendly, rude, etc. -- the list can go on and on.) When we moved in 3 years ago, this was an amazing apartment community, that even threw a yearly tenant appreciation Barbeque, or multiple tailgate parties in their Party Room with food/drinks included. It seems like the owners of the property really lost care of everything in the past couple years, and it's a shame. I know of 8 GOOD long-term tenants that are leaving at the end of their current lease term, due to the way things have gotten around here. They are stressing out their property management team as well, having the property manager needing to attend maintenance requests around the grounds, aside all other management duties.
Other than that, it's a beautiful community, dog-friendly, for an okay price.
