I have seen many changes over the past 10 years. Must say the current staff are the most friendly and attentive I've experienced. Maintenance has responded quickly even when called after hours. Periodic social gatherings in office encourage personal interaction with residents.

It was always well kept when I first moved in. However, it is going down hill. Halls, garage and common areas are .mostly dirty and in need of cleaning. It tends to get noisy at times. Security locks are often broken as well as door handles. It doesn't always feel safe and clean as it was when I first moved in. I moved to the community because it was well kept and secure. It is disappointing to see it go down hill.

Generally good, especially before young children were accepted. Our elevators are their playground,and require excessive maintenance. Auxiliary SIDE FIRE DOORS are very busy after dark.Very active coming and going. Suspect purchasing 0f "Goods & Services" Have suggested in the past they bemade FIRE EXIT ONLY, NO ENTRY.

Nice apartment except for old floors/carpet. Replaced only when you move out. Valet trash disappointment, hallway carpet and elevator now have spills every week. Allowance of dogs, now elevators and hallways smell.

We like the space our apartment has. We appreciate the keyless entry into the apartment itself. Having all appliances included (esp washer and dryer) amazing. Dislikes parking and mailroom. The turnaround with knew neighbors doesn't really bother me but I feel like a little education on dos and don'ts would be good to help them move in a little easier. Examples: Blocking off the entry way/elevator.Using all the parking spaces with the moving trucks. Blocking the garage door trapping you in/out.

I have lived here since March, 2024 I am very happy living here. Staff is very friendly & helpful. My apartment is very spacious with lots of windows for light to come in. Outside areas are maintained on a regular basis.

When we moved in early 2021, the property was under different management than it is now. Since the switch, the property has gone downhill I feel. My building has doors constantly broken, trash everywhere at all times, and many other issues. Parking is hard to come by, especially if we have visitors. Maintenance requests often go unanswered or get marked as complete only for the same thing to break again a few days later. Appliances are all dated, and the unit tends to run hot in the summer as the layout of AC units isn't too great.

Parking is a huge issue, people park everywhere and park on the grass. Up keep on the lawn and surrounding area is non existent. When you put in for a maintenance request, it takes days and sometimes weeks to get a response... unacceptable... But when you don't have all your documents in order for renters insurance, they fine you right away.. I had legally had renters insurance but they still charged me for not having the right address on it.. no understanding just said too bad

We have renewed here out of necessity. If we had more options in Madison, we'd go instantly. The leasing office/maintenance situation is almost nonexistent. This place is subpar and unsafe most days. Even when things are brought to management's attention, they blatantly ignore anything that they can get away with. I had to call the fire department on building infractions before management would do anything about it.

I love Preserve West! The largest apartments in the area and top-notch staff! If you have an issue, just contact the staff and they will take care of the problem. 24/7 emergency maintenance for any issues that arise.

Really like living at Preserve West. Having a washer and dryer in our apartment is great. Love parking in the garage too. Appreciate they allow dogs that weigh more than 50 lbs. It's nice having stores and gas stations close by.

The maintenance here is awful. It takes months to get anything worked on, no matter how large or small the problem is. I've only ever gotten something done after I called to complain multiple times and after months of waiting.

Ive been living here for almost one year and all I can say is I haven't really had a good experience. From not being able to find a parking spot when I get home to my ac being out for a month. I always have to contact the office more than once for them to fix issues in my apartment. When I got my apartment there was alot of things not done or finished at all and I was really disappointed. During this winter season my heat has been out multiple times and it's not a good living condition. I love how big the apartment is and how I have a lot of space but as maintenance goes it's not the best.

This is a beautiful place with big apartments and great location. The gym is small but is enough to work out. We have had a good experience in general but we've had some issues. Working orders takes long time to be addressed, and some neighbors do not follow the leasing policies.

The clientel is much younger, but some problems continue. The intercom from the front entryway is still not working to hear words, maybe even worse now. My building entry key does not work on the pedestrian door next to the automobile door, so I have carry my door opener just to put trash in the bin,and return or walk around to the front door. The people in the leasing office are quite congenial. I find it surprising that to call the office or maintenance that the call is via a toll call: is that to discourage calls or an oversight? I have quit riding my bicycle, because traffic on Schroeder Rd. is more dangerous than five years ago I think speed bumps would help. I recently saw a notice on my storage locker that thpse ha been cleaned out. My laptop has had problems so ir it was posted in Resident Portal I would not have seen it. Why not post it in the elevator and on corridor doors.

Having lived here for over 7 years l have appreciated the large apartment size and the fairly quiet environment. The complex has been sold 3 times in these 7 years and has moved from a senior setting to a diverse community. The aging buildings and landscaping require more upkeep than they are currently getting due to few maintenance staff. The windows are also in need of replacement. Yet under the right management, this complex could thrive.

Love My New Location

Very safe, quiet, and beautiful apartment community. Prices for rent are very reasonable and the parking garage is very affordable. This location is close to everything. Many grocery stores, reasonably priced gas stations, and lots of entertainment with in 5 minutes of this apartment location. I chose it because it was within walking distances to my job office, the price was reasonable, and the office staff were extremely helpful, especially Mr. Jake. I moved from the Deep South and I am very happy with this decision and location.
