I've been here since 2019, and the for the most part my experience here has been good. I have noticed in the last year or two things have changed as it relates to service calls and the up keep of the property and some of people that now live in the community. I'm seeing a lot more complaints about simple things that aren't being done as they once were, and there seems to be a lack of movement from Management in addressing the issues.

The community is adequate. It is disappointing the property upkeep has declined over the years. We receive an annual monthly rental increase however, the upkeep of the property has declined. The shrubberies within many of the common areas are terribly maintained. They are either dead, have weeds growing within the planters or have been cut in such a uncaring way the lamdscape looks bad. Unfortunately, the policy of a non-smoking property is not true. Not only do people smoke the ever present smell of marijuana is throughout the community which makes it extremey difficult to enjoy the amenities. The term gated community should be used lightly as gates are still broken since my family moved in almost 7 years ago.

Place is going down hill fast. Would not recommend. Rent raises, lack of maintenance to property, rude residents and staff does nothing about. Staff has rules but never enforces them. ??????????????..

Awesome service
We were greeted with a warm smile from Carlos. We were inquiring about reserving the community room for an event and Carlos was extremely helpful. Carlos was informative and professional. He went above and beyond to answer our questions. Thank you Carlos

I've really appreciate the Kind staff. I met Vanessa and several other amazing representatives from the complex and they have always been very supportive and if I call, they follow up right away the maintenance individuals are always very kind and helpful around the community. They do their best to keep the environment clean. I really appreciate them for all that they do to help keep the environment safe and family friendly

The staff here is wonderful. I do have a problem with every year The rent goes up over $100. I'm a senior citizen and lived on a fixed budget and that is quite a bit of money. Also, the trash fees have been known to go up $30 a month That is ridiculous

The overall community is nice. But I didn't know they allowed section 8 housing. If I would have known I would have never moved in. Also the parking is horrible if you have guests. They need to monitor the parking better.

Amazing customer service from both Jaime Cruz and Danielle Edwards
Danielle customer service is top tier. Anytime I visited Resident Services with an issues she made sure to take care of it immediately. She goes above and beyond to contact whoever necessary and makes sure to follow up with residents regarding their issues. She is amazing and I really appreciate her customer service, she is the best. Jaime Cruz's customer service is also amazing. He really goes above and beyond to solve any issues that may arise in residents units. . Aside from Jaime and Dannielle, the community needs huge improvements mainly regarding security. The Homecoming at the Preserve is suppose to be a gated community but the pedestrian gates are broken and have been for months. Random people come in and out and there have been a lot of car break-ins and attempted home break-ins. The gates need to be repaired. Often times the gates that vehicles drive through get stuck open and remain open for days on end. I have given my feed back to management but so far nothing has been repaired. Moving in process is great and they'll do all they can and answer every single call. However once you are moved in you can forget about it they don't respond to any work orders calls or emails. Dog poop everywhere people steal packages place looks good but once you're in you see how it really is. Just don't do it.

It started out great. Clean, secure, safe, friendly. It's devolved into an expensive housing project. While I still enjoy the fact that everything is taken care of without me having to do anything, the cost is too high to deal with broken man/auto gates, dog feces littering the sidewalks and overflowing trash receptacles, for which we actually pay extra.

Experience has been mixed. Mostly happy with maintenance but overall have seen a lot of complaints by residents almost daily on the community wall. Also do not feel security is satisfactory at all..

Vanessa helped throughout the whole move in process and she is AMAZING! Especially staying after hours to finish my move in! My experience living in this community has been great so far. I am loving my new home!!! My only complaint is that the gate near my unit seems to be broken often. I have been here almost 2 weeks and usually go somewhere everyday and i have only had to use my clicker twice to get in. All the other times the gate has been wide open.

The whole move-in process was smooth, maintenance staff has been great, they're always very professional and respond to service order requests in a timely manner. My only grievance involves having a pet and the initial fees required to send a DNA sample to a third party which would be utilized when fecal matter is left behind, they said they would send it out to determine whose pet those droppings belong to and then fine them accordingly for not cleaning up after their pet. It doesn't not seem like they enforce this at all as there is often dog ---- that's left in the dog parks and on the sidewalks. Otherwise we're happy.

You were extra ordinary helpful and special to me that I was able to find this apartment so quickly and in a timely matter. 5 Star Service!
Spinelli and Vanessa have been so kind and helpful to me and my husband. We had problems with USPS Change of Address & Frontier Internet service; they went out of their way to make sure everything was corrected before we start moving in. Spinelli is the reason we chose to make Homecoming the Preserve our home!, she always answered our calls and emails so quickly! We felt like we belonged here and she was so welcoming! She never made us feel like we were bothering her. Vanessa had a wi-fi router ready for us before we even moved in; she made sure we had internet service just in case Frontier Cable wasn’t ready to service our internet. Vanessa took the time to call me to let me know she had a wi-fi router ready for us to borrow; she was so helpful. Thank you for employing such amazing human beings, the Lewis Company is very lucky to have Samantha Spinelli and Vanessa represent the company!

Gated community that allows anyone in and out; non residents block entrances waiting for residential to come by instead of going thru the main gate asking to get buzzed in. kids throwing balls against the walls of our street creating noise, cars revving all hours of the day. Kids going around playing with your door bells and people stealing packages off your front porch. Dog feces are in walkways, pool area is always a mess with rude and inconsiderate people. The place use to be quiet and nice and now it's just incomprehensible. Management doesn't seem to be doing anything about it especially when we pay sooooo much to live here. Unacceptable.

I always have a positive experience with Carlos from the main office and Julio from maintenance no matter if I need help with something with my unit or something important these two guys always make sure it gets done right and always have a positive attitude overall

My experience is mixed. For example, maintenance requests fall into a black hole other than the receipt of a computer-generated acknowledgement that the request was submitted. When maintenance arrives (always a surprise), they are pleasant and helpful. The grounds are nice and well-maintained, except for the animal excrement, We are supposed to be a gated community but the drive-through gates are often broken, and the pedestrian gates don't latch properly The garbage situation is terrible -- the refuse areas are often filthy and chaotic and most areas don't have recycling. The garbage fees are ridiculously high; I fear garbage fees may be a profit center for Lewis Communities. There needs to be some type of security staffing; the police are being called on a more frequent basis.

Exceptional Service
It's always frustrating when maintenance has to do ANYTHING, however I could not have asked for a more patient & friendly tech than Kevin. He came in installed the new refrigerator and explained everything to me & cleaned everything before leaving. It's really the small things!

Carlos was a great help to me and my son this afternoon. We recently moved in and already "misplaced" our fob. Carlos was very pleasant in walking me throught the process to log on to a text building g and set everything up. We really appreciate his support with this issue. I hope that his leadership understand that they have a great asset in him. That you Carlos!!

Ive come in to Resident Services a few times for different issues ranging from fire alarms with low batteries to parking violations and pet issues and Carlos has been great!!! very quick to resolve any issues and his Customer Service is just always on point. My personal experience in this community has been nothing but positive. My apartment has all the amenities that are somewhat difficult to find in older rental units, including central a/c and an attached garage. The facilities are well maintained and beautifully landscaped. Common areas leave nothing to be desired. I am very satisfied living here.

It's been below par since I moved to the new side. The lack of communication from the leasing office is lack luster. The leasing office can never pick up the phone and management never responds to emails nor answer the phone when requested. It's very frustrating that there so many people in the office and that you cannot even get anyone on the phone
