Worst place to live/Bad Management
I lived here for one year, one year of hell. Not one day would i want to come home. Lots of crime. The management discriminates, and you better forget getting anything fixed without having to call, plead and beg for at least two weeks. Rent is too high for the ---- hole.

noisy neighbors, lotsof crime
Where shall I begin? No doorbell? That´s okay. Just pull up in your car at 2 AM and lay on the horn. Hold loud drunken conversations on the sidewalk in the middle of the night, and wake everybody up. Throw eggs at your neighbor´s truck. If you like prostitution, here it is. I´m sure there are a lot of scary things.
It was a combination of the rude, loud neighbors, and the increase in rent that made me finally bail. The building felt like it was falling down.

Good
I lived there for three and a half months before my job moved me to Georgia and I enjoyed living there because it was located near everything I needed. The complex was kept clean and well maintained. The management staff was very friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend this complex.

Bad, even by AV standards
Okay, This was the worse place I have ever lived in my life. It is bad enough living in the AV, but living here makes it even worse. There is a crime committed everyday here, and the noise is terrible. The staff does not help, and apartments run-down. The av is the worse place in the World I ever lived. I hated every minute of that hellish experience. AV is over-run with criminals and low-lifes.

overrun by monkeys!!
first off, i wouldnt recommend living in antelope valley, but if need be, dont let it be here. although the apartments are fairly big, the outside of the complex is full of theives and teenagers with nothing better to do than keep you awake with their music and loitering. there is one particular tenant which the managers have evicted that just wont go away. she digs through the trash and steals your belongings, not to mentin shes a speed freak. security takes, on average, 40 minutes to respond to problems that arise, which is rather very often. overall, the management team here are intimidated procrastinaters who never finish what they start.

apartment is very rundown and feels unsafe.
When I first lived here there was excellent security. The place is now rundown, no nighttime security, and constant replys from the office staff that situations will be taken care of. They NEVER are . I would not recommend the apt. to anyone.

Complex lacking since new management. Needs help!
Complex has gone downhill within the last year. New management doesn´t follow through with it´s promise´s. If you can´t/don´t solve your own problems with the area, it is´nt done.

Tree´s that die or destroyed by weather are not replaced, just removed. Before long, the name will have to be changed to Antelope Desert Apartments.

Security is not what it was. Don´t get me wrong, management is likeable, but ...

It lacks the homey feeling it had when I moved in 2 years ago. It is beginning to feel and look like a motel.

Uhhh, no
Since having new management, Antelope Pines is going down hill. They used to have security surveilance here at all times, but due to, i assume, cost cuts, there is no longer security on the premises 24 hrs a day, which has taken its toll on living conditions. They have, on average, 2 evictions a month, and their rent has migrated upwards a lot in the past 2 yrs.
