Great staff and well conditioned apartments/grounds. As mentioned in my rating, it occassionally gets noisy. But that tends to be more a by-product of the town than the apartment complex itself. Overall, any apartment seeker would be very fortunate to become a resident of Fox Creek!

I moved here from the Seattle area and found apartment hunting in the Monterey Peninsula area to be a nightmare. I found Fox Creek Village through For Rent.com. It is horrifically expensive for the 734 square feet that I am renting (my last apartment was a brand new 1273 sq ft unit in a good neighborhood, and I paid over $100 less); however, reserved covered parking and a W/D are included in the price. There are also a lot of rules in this place - which I am happy to have! It's quiet and the complex is clean. It's also surrounded by trees and a nice walking path. All the shopping you could want is within walking distance (which is nice around Christmas time - I did not have to fight for any parking at the mall). My main complaint about this place is the management. They are incredibly hard to get in touch with. Our mail room and mail boxes were broken into this past Christmas and now we all have to go to the post office to get our mail. The staff does not seem to care. It's been a month and the boxes have still not been repaired. Any calls to the management result in rude responses - as if THEY were the people who are being inconvenienced. I suggested installing a security system as a deterrent, and was brushed off . All in all, I would say this is a good place to live so long as you don't mind not having a working relationship with your property management. They are simply unavailable.
