The location is wonderful and both the leasing and maintenance team are phenomenal. The grounds and common areas are always clean and well cared for. I highly recommend anyone looking in the Downtown/East Village area to consider EV Lofts.

Very dog friendly community with great amenities (before covid). Modern style apartments. Management and maintenance teams are very responsive, fast and helpful. Having the parking garage underground is great.

The location is great and staff is awesome. The walls are relatively thin and outside can get.. loud at later hours of the night but that isnt the facilities fault. Nonetheless, the people are great and the dog run is extremely useful.

EV Lofts is an awesome dog-friendly community with beautiful units, nice amenities, wonderful staff, and friendly neighbors. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a small-to-midsize modern living community in downtown San Diego!

Ev Lofts has made the moving process during COVID super easy and I am absolutely obsessed with my apartment. Its very clean and the building has a hip vibe along with amazing amenities. I dont have a pet currently, but if I ever wanted to get one Ev is very pet-friendly.

Don't live here! This is the worst apartment management company I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I'd rather move back into my apartment with mold issues and a hole in the wall than try to get Ev to resolve a problem.

Evlofts is a great community in the east village. The building is very conveniently close to the blue trolley line and is fairly close to the transfer with the orange and green lines as well. The building is usually very clean.

EV Lofts is a great community that I have very much enjoyed living at. It is pet friendly and all the neighbors know each other. The staff is friendly and attentive making any questions or concerns a breeze. I would recommend this community to everyone

Very friendly staff here. They are prompt in helping us when we have issue. Facilities included are also very nice and clean. One issue is that the outside the front entrance near the glass door there are always lots of flies and bugs flying around, dont know if it is because dogs always pee there or maybe homeless? Wish there is something that could be done to get rid of those flies

This complex is run by friendly staff who genuinely care. Maintenance is always quick to respond and happy to help. The community atmosphere is always fun, friendly and respectful. I've enjoyed every moment of my residency here.

I love the area, neighbors are friendly and courteous. Staff are super awesome and always helping with a smile. The maintenance guys are all great and working hard.Nice cleaning lady as well. I love Hello Alfred amenity ????

Toured Ev Lofts recently as I am moving to San Diego next year. I love their roof top! It's an awesome urban hangout. Nice to have a place with lots of greenery in the middle of a big city. The best spot for me though is the dog park. Its so convenient for me and my pup. I definitely recommend this place.

While the building is very nice, management will nickel and dime you over things upon move-out. Be very cautious... I have rented several properties over the last few years, including office and residential. To that end, I have never been charged a painting fee upon moving out. I spent over $52,000 in rent with this community over a two-period. During my first year, I rented a studio from Monogram Residential. When I moved out, they didn't charge me a thing. During my second year, the building was sold to Greystar, and upon move out, they charged me nearly $600 in painting and cleaning fees. Future tenants should be wary of their unfair business practices.

Great value for the location and amenities. You can't beat living 7 blocks from gaslamp and two from Albertsons. The gym is large and the rooftop deck is great during sunset or warm weekends. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help whenever you have an issue.

Overall after 1-2 months living here we are satisfied. The rent is a bit high for what we have (square footage mainly), but with the East Village area becoming more and more developed, as long as the rent does not increase significantly, the value will increase. I really wish there was a pool and/or hot tubs, and a game room would be nice.

Best living experience in downtown San Diego!! when I moved two blocks down from Form 15 it was like a whole new experience. Christina (property manager) was so very helpful with accommodating all the needs I asked for. Christina went the extra mile when it was time for moving day, Christina walked me upstairs and did the walk through we me which I thought was so great since she was the manager. the office staff was always willing to help when any needs were requested. The resident events were always so fun because management was always involved helping to build great relationship with other residents. Thank you so much for always creating such an inclusive environment.

EV has a great location and is very welcoming. Staff and maintenance can improve their concern for people new to some harsh policies because, moving is difficult. Avoid first floor because of street noise and lights. It is an excellent place to live apart from fixable issues. Josh N

There are better places in downtown San Diego to live. There are cheaper and better built buildings for city noise and there are places that receive less annoyance from the homeless community. Without any of the reasons already listed, I wouldn't recommend EV lofts to live because of the outrageous monthly rent compared to square footage.

Love the sense of community here. Neighbors are all friendly. Rooftop gatherings/parties are a blast. Staff is friendly, professional and lives in the building, so when something goes wrong, they're usually on top of it. As a working professional, it's wonderful to be surrounded by other working professionals who also love to let loose and have fun.

EV is an excellent living experience. From the amenities, to the helpful staff, to the new apartments, EV is the best spot in Downtown San Diego by far. I love the roof deck especially since it has a dog run. I plan on renewing my lease for many years.
