Everything has been working out smoothly here. The team has been really kind, but there is one minor issue, and it's the elevator. One of them has been down now for about 4 months. No one has given us an update on this.

The manager was helpful when I first went to view apartments. She was friendly and I appreciated that she took me on the tour even though my appointment was not showing on her calendar. I was happy that she showed me the apartment I am in now. I love it.

We have been living at Ashton for over 1 1/2 years now. It’s safe, clean, and well maintained. Priscilla and Rick are both amazing and take very good care of residents, always checking in on us when we walk by the office and always taking care of any issues immediately. We got pregnant and had our first born while living at Ashton, and I felt very safe in this community while pregnant and later with a newborn. Priscilla and Rick are the backbones of this place, and we are lucky to have an amazing staff looking after everything.

Ashton is located in a peaceful and park-like setting on the soft edge of the City which makes it a perfect place to live within the San Francisco city limits to avoid the crowds, density, loud, bustling grimy metropolitan atmosphere.

Living at Ashton Apartments has been fantastic. The staff is incredible--friendly, helpful, thoughtful, and proactive in every way. The units are great and the building is exceptionally well maintained. It's hard to be more enthusiastic about apartment living.

It's pretty & everything, but you don't really see ppl. You might see a few ppl out of all the ppl who live here. It's not a comfort zone, it's only a staff of 3, 2 maintenance guys & a sorry leasing agent, in training, one of them kind that switch uo when the ngr come around, but she don't come out her apartment, she has a office, but you never see her like the rest of the ppl here. If you have company, you have to go downstairs & get them, nobody can come to your door! Mgr is racist too, u don't want to live here!

Coming home to my beautiful apartment in Ashton is a pleasure. Kitchen design and layout make meal prep and entertaining easy. It's quiet, elegant, and convenient to work and outdoor areas. Neighbors are friendly, pets are welcome. Planning to stay!

The Mgr stole my deposit check, they then sent me a check that they bank wouldn't cash, it was FRAUDULENT! You can't get in touch with nibidy else in the company, you dont want to live here! Jyst call the mgr KAREN! She came out the night I moved in, everything here us CRAZY TRUST ME! They still have not gave me my MONEY! Now they dont answer my calls or emails, Im tryna find out what's up with my money & KAREN got the never to not answer! You know whata going to happen next right? Cant just take somebody's money and think its ok to not give it back ir update them on whats going on with their money! This mgr live here, she dont come out her house, she watch cameras all day,no security, she security, the boy down in the lobby aint no help with nothing, I think he is the doorman cuz he can't answer questions, give you no info on nothing, he say you have to tell her! Again, you dont want to live here, it's not right and they unprofessional period! Everyday it's something new! Been here 2 weeks and its been hell! Crazy azz 5 staff, they all crazy! Keep it moving if you looking for your comfort zone cuz this is NOT it! Greystar... dont trust them im telling you, they playing with my money, but they dont even know how angry that makes ppl... they gone learn real got dam soon!

The Ashton is a fantastic apartment community. The apartments are quiet as is the community. It's great to walk in this neighborhood. It's close to the water of the bay, so walking is a joy. The management is attentive and communicative. The maintenance, when required, is timely and efficient. Overall, I highly recommend the Ashton apartments.

The management and maintenance team at Ashton San Francisco do a great job proving friendly courteous service and always meet or exceed our expectations. Maintenance work orders, when requested, are addressed in a timely manor with efficiency and no messes are ever left behind. Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, they consistently utilize PPE and keep the recommended 6 feet of distance. We recommend Ashton SF to anyone looking for a clean & safe luxury apartment community thats conveniently located between the city limits of SF and the rest of the peninsula.

Nice relatively quiet place to live. Should have compost bin on each floor. Nice people working here. Restaurant on ground floor is a problem with false fire alarms. Pet friendly. Would be better to have gas kitchen stove instead of electric. Venting in kitchen is very poor. Very happy living here

Move in troubles: We were moving to SF for work from SD and we fell in love with the beauty and elegance of this complex. We were set on renting a downstairs unit that was available but we wanted to wait a few days to apply. I was reassured by Priscilla that it was not a popular unit and that the likelihood of anyone else applying within the next few days would be slim to none. On top of that, they told us that if anyone else showed interest in the unit, they would let us know right away so that we can apply for it to take it off the market... Well 1 day later, I get a phone call saying the unit is no longer available and was rented out after-hours. I was extremely upset because we would have applied for the unit right away had they not assured me we had ample time to wait until the weekend. No remorse or apologies from the staff as I was in tears asking how this could have happened... We ended up applying for a different unit, and our application was still being reviewed. We requested to have our 2 weeks extensive to move in that they agreed to give us for the unit that we originally wanted, but were informed they need to "check back with the manager" to see if they can approve it. It's obviously not our choice to change units so I don't see why they would refuse our request... Our overall experience thus far - Let me just say that if you make any agreements with Ashton, get it in writing, or else it will just be broken promises. I will be updating this once a receive their response. Move out troubles: Funny after two years, I still had the above post saved in my drafts & unfortunately my experience with Ashton had worsened. I got what I needed in writing & they still charged me $450 on top of keeping our $500 deposit. I have emails from the staff confirming our deposit would cover wall patching & cleaning & yet they decided to charge us an additional $400 for it anyways. Sure the apartment complex is nice but beware, they're money hungry & don't really care about their renters lives or well-being. We had to move out and move back home to SD due to COVID. Thanks Ashton for making these struggling times harder for us.

A Luxury Apartment in an oasis. You will not find an apartment community in San Francisco that will offer such diverse large square footage floor plans, waterfront access, and decent rental rates. The build quality of this community is superb compared to others. The staff is hospitable and go above and beyond to ensure that residents are well taken care of. This is as good as it gets!

Overall, its ok. Theres no wow factor here at all. The best thing about this place is that UDR (previous management company) built a solid building. The amenities for what you pay here are very much lacking. I dont plan to be here long enough to see what will come of the area but for now it feels like an island with nothing on it. No restaurants, no grocery stores, no shopping etc. Just feels very remote and away from life with is a good and bad thing.

This is a quiet community with polite neighbors. The staff is courteous and responsive. Although shopping, entertainment, dining experiences are not close the nearby park does provide immediate access to outdoor activities.

I have conflicted views on writing this review because I am afraid others will find this sweet spot. The facility is an amazing oasis in the SF Bay Area in my view. The apartments actually have the space to live at a reasonable price (relative to the rest of SF). The staff has been amazingly helpful, and there is actually a feeling of community. Keep up the good work.

I've just moved in recently, however, we searched FOREVER in the area and found absolutely nothing that had a good amount of space, open kitchen, clean and safe environment and dual bathroom sinks. That is... until Ashton. It hit all of our checkboxes including some that were the hopeful ones. The price is great and it is easy to get to SF, Daly City and the peninsula. Parking is a nightmare, though.

LOVE this building & my apartment- it is my most favorite I have ever resided in in the last 15 years! Building & units are gorgeous with high end finishes...all of the staff are super friendly & happy to go above & beyond. The location is ideal- just south of downtown S.F. but north of South S.F.! Super happy!

We have lived in SF at two similar type apartment communities over the past 9 years and we barely met neighbors in the elevator in passing. Ashton apt is extraordinary in that we are really a community where we get together with residents for cookouts, events and just hanging out in the recreation area for a warriors game! I credit Priscilla, the manager for this closeness of our community. She plans fun events, hangs out with residents and handles managerial/resident business in a professional manner.
