I put the wrong key in my mail box. Tried to take it out but I wasn’t successful. I right away, looked for one of the gentlemen that are normally working in the area. I explained to him what happened and he helped me right away.

Got mistake to choice live and stay in this apartment community
If i make a complaint to the manager(Johnny Babuscca) he don’t care to the tenant. He just talking to much. No actions to the problem of the tenant. He don’t know how to apology on their sort coming. I had a lot of bad experience in this apartment community. The manager need more training to manage and how to deal the people, especially to the occupants of the apartment..

Maintenance is very unprofessional, management never helps. Gate is always broken and not working. No space for parking. My car has gotten broken into twice already with window being broken. Management makes lots of mistakes.

I have been living here since March 2013. Right now we're at October 2017. On average my rent has been increasing by 9% every year. Although there was one time on 2014 where they raised my rent by 15%. This time, they are raising my rent almost 21% (20.6%). I honestly feel like this is abuse from their side. Especially for someone that has always been paying rent on time (except 1 time where I talked to them and I explained I had been several months without a job and I paid 5 days late). Besides that I have always been on time. Still having a 20% increase although it's legal by the State of California, seems really abusive. Also they only gave me 3 days to make a decision. They told me otherwise, it would be a higher price. I understand the Bay Area is one of the most expensive places on earth to live, but for tenants that have been living at your complex for many years already, you should treat them better.

I'm a current resident at Greenhaven and I moved here in April from Apple Valley, Ca. Mr. Tyrone and Amber are so nice and very helpful. I'm very new to the area so anytime I have any questions they are very helpful in giving me directions to the grocery stores, to the mall, to the movies, walmart and the apartments are always nice and clean. And the gardeners do a good job too. It's nice to have a pool, Jacuzzi, laundry and gym all in the same area so I don't have to go far. Sincerely, Rosie Carroll apt 217. Thank you Greenhaven

I don't recommend Green Haven: - They increase the rent every year. It's an abuse as it goes way over 10% - Trains go by several times per night waking everybody up - The light bulbs across the units are busted. They take months to be replaced. - No security, epanyone can enter to the complex at anytime. - Imposible to get parking for visitors. Good luck if you can park a block or 2 away - Management is bad, they really don't care about the tenants - Property is old, apartments not worth the amount they charge for rent, old carpet, furnishings and appliances - Dog poop all around the property - Laundry facilities are filthy. They don't clean them or maintain them - my apartment had rats. Maintenance failed to properly take care of the problem, so I had to take care of it. I can hear the rats in between the walls once in a while - Sprinklers are all broken wasting tons of water and everything gets flooded The only positive thing is that it's well located.

I wouldn't recommend living here. The laundry area are dirty and never kept clean, i even see teens smoking in the laundry facility. Ridiculous of how poor this place is. Theres So many dog poop! My kids ends up having doggie poo on their shoes. Cobwebs everywhere on the stairs. Such low maintenance here! No manager even gives a damn about what goes on here. Thanks god I'm moving out soon. The worst part is that you can hear everyone even when your asleep. I even caught a few residents smoking weed. It's not worth the money to rent here. No wonder there's so many residents moving out. If you decide to live here, your gonna regret it.

This place has gone to the dump! I'v been here since 2010 and then it was nice and clean but now, this place has gone from Greenhaven to Hayhaven. I moved here because it was nice and clean. But, since the new owner's took over, it is know longer that anymore. The grass is brown now, because their to cheap to water it. But, asking for more rent.

They are increasing the rent every year. Eventually, it's cheaper to rent a house than apartment. The property manager is rude and obnoxious. It takes the handyman forever to come to fix things inside the apartment. You have to pay water, sewer, and garbage (Average $90 a month). The dog is barking all night long. I can't wait to move out of this place.

I have lived here for two years. Since the new owners took over, this place has gone from being sketchy to being a full-on dump. The gates are usually broken and people get in anyway, and there is no longer any security. There was good security when I moved in, but that is long gone. There is no late-night emergency number. There are either parties or screaming fights every night. Parking has become a disaster. This is totally not worth the rent I pay, and I cannot wait to leave.

Ghettohaven Apartments!
My experience as a tenant here, at Greenhaven Apartment Homes was horrible! The rent is extremely high! and the property manager they have now, is extremely rude and obnoxious. She always has an bad attitude whenever, you come into the office. I mean the level of professionalism with this woman, is on a level of a 2 year old child. Anyway, this place is not a great place to raise your children. This place is extremely noisy, and ------. people are always playing loud music, fights, arguments, and police are always patrolling the area. if you want to experience the ''Hood life'' come to Greenhaven Apartments. lol lol lol ask the residence who live here, they'll tell you the same...

MOLDS & STAFF
OMG!!I soooooo Agree with the person who just worte the latest review. This place is so bad. The leasing Agent's (female) is a terrible person to deal with. She is always drunk or aguing with her man. She seem she has her favorite tho. And if your not watch out she will harass you. They dont care about there residents at all. All they care about is the money. They could care less about you. I wasted 2 years here and will never tell anyone to lease here. I wish the new buyer will see between the line what goes around here. Very RUDE, disrespectful oh mann can go on and on.....and the mold is getting worse!

Worse renting experience ever...
My friend and I moved out to California and rented this place off the internet. We are both law enforcement and unfortunately, word had leaked out of the rental office the the tennants had better shape up because "some cops are moving in here". It was extremely noisy and it would take three or four days to get maintenance to fix anything. The final straw was that four months after we move in, I come home from work at 2 a.m. and there's someone trying to break into our apartment. I confront the manager the next day about moving out and he threatens to take our security deposit plus the break lease fee. We negotiated by moving into a sister property over in Foster City. We ran like rabbits and never looked back.

It's a expensive place to live
The rate has just gotten up over 10% for all the new lease, it is a very high price for such an old apartment complex. The services are very bad, a broken cook top takes three month to be fixed and a burn out light bulb takes more than two month and not being replaced yet. Gym is locked up for off work hours, so any working person would has no chance to use the facilities, although it have been paid for. The manager appears to be helpful, but they are not much a help for anything you have asked for. Tenants are not very friendly and some of them are very defensive for no reason. There are police cruisers in this complex from time to time. Overall, it is not recommended for anyone who would like to get they money worth!

Nice place
Been living here for abt 6 mths and like it here. This seems a family oriented community. On any given work day all you see are people driving off to work and kids rushing to school. Neighbors get along well and people walk their dogs. The gates make it look nicer and there's no one hanging out.

Has improved much in the past year!
So, while all of these ratings might be pretty negative, it's important to note that most of them are well over a year old at this point. The place is clean and, as far as I can tell, safe. There is a brand new gate around the community that seems to be doing a great job keeping scumbags like drug dealers and gang members out. Most of the people I've seen here are really nice, albeit pretty old.

Not as BAd
I am writing to say that it is not as bad as some of the people say. Every one has their own opinion. Don't understand why they say "gangs" and "drugs" I have lived here many years and never seen this myself. The new office staff is very helpful when you need something quickly done. They are very diligent in getting things done. They were even able to get us gates that will be installed soon. I think that the staff at Greenhaven really care about us and do the best that they can do.

unsafe and noisy place
Don't move here. You will be wasting alot of money. This place has gangs and drug dealers hanging out in the parking lots, police men coming here all the time, loud music in the parking lots, gunshots, yelling, and fighting in the day, and in the middle of the night. All of the good residents have moved out. You can't come home from work without feeling uncomfortable or walk around outside. This place is very bad.

Dont move here if you want a safe place to come home to after work.
NOT a SAFE place to live. Noisy, even at 3 am people scream in the street. Kids are always on the stairway hanging out, no respect from neighbors. Staff is friendly and understanding. Maintenance get things done in a ok timely manner, i waited 4 days for my dishwasher to get fixed. In general not a place to live if you want to be safe after hours and not worry about getting jumped by a gang, or something stolen out of your car. There's other places similar prices and better location.

I am happy here
In this day and age there are problems at every apartment community it is sad but true. I am happy at Greenhaven i have had no problems and there seem to be many residents who have been here for years. I am close to everything I need. I may not want to be buddy buddy with all the residents but there are some really nice people here and I am very happy with the office staff.
