You will feel uncomfortable and unsafe
The first review covers almost everything.
People in and out, gangs fighting, police cars almost everyday, dirty surroundings,
see people drinking alcoholic drinks and even leaving bottles litter around, car vandalism, etc....

NOT A GOOD PLACE!!!
Advantages:
1. Just a block to Alvarado Elementary and Middle School.
2. Just a block to bank, grocery stores, asian market and restaurants.
3. Bus stop on front.
4. One assigned covered (top) parking.
5. If you have more than one car, you can park anywhere as long as its not covered.
6. A block away from fire station.
7. Near to Union Landing area.
8. Near to I-880

Disadvantages:
1. No washer and dryer inside the unit.
2. Few coin operated washer and dryer in the comppound.
3. Washer and dryer area are also being used by outsiders and are dirty and unsanitary to use since some wash and dry shoes.
4. Management seems does not care about implementing apartment rukes and regulations.
5. Outsiders can come in and out of the area since it is not gated.
6. High rate of cars being vandalized and carnapped. Check the UC Police dept. (There is one time 18 cars in a month).
7. Haven for drug users and dealers (Check with UCPD for crime rates)
8. Apartment break-in also happens specially the ground unit. Property in the patio are also being stolen also on ground unit.
9. Pools are also being used by outsiders.
10. A lot of noisy neighbors and undiciplined kids.
11. Kids are playing, riding bikes, scooters, pocket motorbike everywhere, even in the streets.
12. Poor maintenance service. They are fast in getting back to you if you are late in rent.
13. You can see group of teens or gangs roaming the area and most of the times you can see and hear shouting and fightings.
14. You have to pay the utility which is approximately $50 (Water, garbage, etc).
I do not know how they do the math on water billing since they do not have water meter. Even if you are out on vacation for months you will still be charged for water.
15. Police cars are always in and out of the area.
16. Mails are also being stolen.
17. Noisy neighbors partying and playing loud music late night and early morning.
18. A lot of section 8 resident.
19. Residents and outsiders roaming drinking beer and alcoholic beverages.
20. Outsiders soliciting services.
