New Manager is NOT a people person
I went to her 3 days ago with a concern that the crew that comes in to cut the grass and spray the grass might be using something that would cause my dog to get sick (in the dog walk area). I asked if she could find out if they changed what they were using and if so, could she let the residents know when they would spray that stuff so we would not walk our dogs in that area until it cleared up ... and make sure that our pets don't eat the grass (my dog got very sick). Instead of saying she would check with them and let us know when they sprayed, she said in a very condescending voice, that "I'll check into it, but I can't make any promises" ... after I started to get upset, I asked her, you mean those guys work for you and you can't find out what I need to know to make sure my dog is safe? I also mentioned that you "don't need to tell me everytime, just ask them what days they spray, and they could generate one letter" ... then she looks at meā¦Ā See More>anonymous

Not Happy
We gave notice in June 2009 that we would not be renewing the lease, because we wanted a rental house with a fenced in yard for our young children and dog. We move out in mid-August. It was really hard for me to give notice, as I really enjoyed the office staff at the time...-----, and a -------------- (sorry don't know her name), I didn't know the manager really. Everyone was so friendly and they knew my name and what building I was in. When shipments of mine came in, ----- would carry them to my car for me if I was unable to lift them. I was sadly disappointed to hear/see they had fired ----- and the -------- and hired a bunch of rude women. The hours of service in the office are insane, if you have a question about anything or try and dispute something....your immediately made to feel the size of a "mouse" as they get rude, basically tell you it's their way or no way. They don't know my name or what building I live in. If I go in one day and discuss something and then go in the next,ā¦Ā See More>anonymous

Working for the renters
My husband and I lived here for our first home and loved it so much that we came back a second time and referred 2 of our friends out here. After having a few issues the second time around the office staff worked with me to accomodate and make me happy again in our home. The apartments are beautiful and feel very safe. I highly recommend them!

Would definitely recommend!
I have lived here for 11 months now and have loved it! I wish I would be able to stay here longer - but must leave to be closer to my husbands job! The apartments here are great! Spacious clean and comfy. I have never had any trouble with noise, the neighbors around me are all very nice - some keep to themselves, but that is nice sometimes. I have always felt very safe here and the grounds are kept very well! There is a King Soopers right across the street - which makes quick trips to the grocery store very easy. Several parks in the area are great for walking to and if you have a dog the property is very dog friendly. I don't have much experience with the new office staff - I loved the guy that worked here before, but the new ladies seem nice and seem to get thing done quickly. The parking is the only thing that can be difficult to find in the evenings - there are always spots - but sometimes you have to park a ways away from your apartment. Nicest Staff
I just want to say that the staff in the office now is so much more knowledgeable than the previous staff. I feel sorry for them actually. They seem very organized and are trying to get things under control. I think that people need to give them a chance and stop being soing negative about change. The previous staff made promises that were incorrect and now the rest of us get to pay the price. Many of us do not like change but sometimes it is for the better. The last guy that worked there always said yes to everything and said he was taking care of it but never did. Thank you to the new office staff for taking care of what you say you will.

Office Staff
When we first moved to Colorado I lived here but then moved out for awhile. I came back because of the customer service I received previously. --, the maint. guy is WONDERFUL and always took care of anything I needed. I went into the office recently and both times I was treated terribly by one of the lady's in the office. She is terribly rude! I do not deserve to be treated with such nastiness!! ----- was great and he is very personable. I am terribly sad that he is now gone. Also, what in the hell is this that I have to call some damn number to put in a work order? Customer service is going down hill here! I try to stay away from the office at all costs but it should not be that way! I pay good money to live here and should feel comfortable going into the office for any issues or to pick up a package. A person should not work with the public if he/she is not personable. Poor office staff
I absolutley love the complex. It has plenty to offer and is always well kept. I have never had any maintenance issues, and the apartments are very nice. Great place to live if you never have to go into the office. The office staff make it seem that whatever they are doing g is more important than their residents. That's even if you can find the staff in there. Very poor customer service in the last month :(

The Office Staff
I moved out of the apartments less than 6 months ago, and honestly I am glad to be out of the hole. The inside of the apartments are nice; however, the office staff, it seems, tried to make my stay miserable. The old office staff was wonderful; they were always willing to help my husband and I, and always made sure our stay was comfortable at the complex. The new office staff is comprised of complete inconsiderate morons. They do not know anyone's names, or seem to care to learn; they are the least helpful and respectful people I have met thus far in the apartment industry. Also, the office staff created a new practice which "sealed the deal" for me to not renew my lease: they stopped taking packages for residents- so if you would like to actually receive Christmas packages from your family, you can expect your family to receive them after the office has it returned to the sender. So, my experience was terrible. I would recommend the complex to anyone who wishes to be treated like an insignificant idiot.

I am so sad that --------------- are not here anymore. What a difference in customer service. I went in the other day to talk about a problem I was having and no one acknowledged me and I was just left standing there, so I left. The person sitting in the back office didn't even look up. If ----- was there he always had a smile and knew your name and asked how he could help, or if he was busy he told you to give him a minute and he'd be right with you, or ----- would come out and handle whatever needed to be done. That is customer service. I am so saddened not to be greeted by ----- with a smile and always taking care of business. I would not renew my lease with this current staff. The maintance guys are great, but this office staff leaves a bad taste in my mouth. They don't seem to be caring as --------------- were. I miss them and wish they were still here, they were the reason I renewed my lease and now I am so sorry I did.

Apartment complex/ Utilities
For the past week the lights in buildings, on garages, and on carports have been on ALL DAY long. I sure know that i am not the only resident that lives here that would NOT LIKE having to pay EXTRA on our UTILITY BILL due to the apartment complexes negligence in wasting electricity. If i have noticed it, you sure can bet the maintenance staff and the office staff that have been walking around the complex this last week should have noticed it.......they should have dealt with the problem a long time ago. Its rediculous that it hasnt been solved already. Lets just hope that when we get our monthly bill the utilities havent sky rocketed, if so i think everyone agrees with me that we shouldnt have to pay for extra utilities for the apartment complex lights being on all day. I try my hardest to conserve my energy by turning out lights, why should all of us have to pay for the apartments mistakes. Nice surroundings, Really Awful Staff
The office staff is every bit has bad as everyone has recently posted. I gave them the benefit of the doubt until I got this mean, accusatory letter on my door. It was really awful, and the worst part is that it wasn't true. If they took time to talk to the residents, they might learn something. I really despise them and dread going to the office. For what I'm paying in rent, I don't think it's right. The apartment is nice. I like the floor plan, and the surrounding grounds. The staff has really ruined it for me. And, I know it sounds spiteful but I hope all you who read this review move somewhere else. The neighborhood is nice. I suggest you check out Stetson Meadows, just about a mile south of Stetson Ridge. The kitchens are smaller but the staff is so much more likable. If you get anything too big for your mailbox, you'll appreciate this. The parking is a source of major frustration. If you get home late, don't pick this place. It will just make you crazy. The maintenance staff is very friendly and I'm sorry they work here because they deserve better.

great place!!
I enjoy living at Stetson Ridge. Staff is very helpful (the main managers)and have gone above and beyond to help me get settled in, in multiple ways. My apartment is quiet and my upstairs neighbor is super quiet and nice. Parking is great - carport. I work on the south end of town, but to me the drive is worth it in order to have a comfortable, quiet and safe home. The courtyards are very child friendly and seem to be pretty clean. I would recommend this property to everyone!! Not to mention, shopping is great in this part of town and you can walk across the street for starbucks :) note - they also just changed staff (I believe spring - summer)

HORRIBLE!!!!
I am glad I only signed a 6 month lease! This place is horrible! Maint. is bad. Nothing ever got fixed that we told them about its like they just forgot we ever told them anything. The walls are paper thin! Parking...WHAT PARKING! There is never anywhere to park and you have to pay to have covered parking which is not even worth it. You have to park in handicap to be be able to park your car at all and then you get a ticket. The utilities are outrageous!!! They have some fee where it goes up every month. The apartments are so small and the hot water always goes cold!!!! Other people that live there are rude and inconsidrate! I warn you dont live there..!!!

I love these apartments!
I moved into Steston Ridge Apartments 4 months ago, and they are great. The grounds are clean, and the maintenance staff is very helpful; they go out of their way to help residents and are very friendly. The apartments are spacious and quiet, and have a great pool and gym.

not the place to live
I still live here (lease not up yet) and I have read a few of the reviews and I see that I am not the only one having the same issues. I hate the blond hair lady in the off. I know hate is a strong word but her customer service skills SUCK she is so rude and her smile is so fake. She told me one day that I was messing up her plans because I came in five mins before they closed with an issue that took only 10 mins. She asked me to come back the next day and was upset when I asked her to please take care of it today. Stephanie and the main manager are cool but for some reason I keep getting the sour puss. Damn!! Sometimes I just turn around when she is the only one there. I really can't stand that woman. She needs to get a job that does not deal with the public. For amount paid, could have been better!!!!
I stayed in this complex for one year, and this is just my brief observations from that year. The parking in this complex was horrible, while there was assigned spots, this would raise your rent. These assigned spots were sometimes nowhere near your building. If you weren t lucky enough to have a reserved spot, you would never find a spot near your building. At one point a fellow resident was allowed to take up a public spot by parking his truck camper there. In my opinion the walls must have been extremely thin, because I would always be able to hear my neighbor s sound system. This is also the same with the odors, because I could smell cigarette smoke in my apartment, when I don t even smoke. The grounds in the summer time were nice, but the winter time, was extremely dangerous. When the management decides to not spread sand on the dangerous driving areas, because it takes too much to clean up, that is just the wrong answer. GREAT STAFF
We just bought a house and had to pay the penalty to get out of the house early. This penalty is clearly stated in the Leasing terms, but what passed by me was the written notice needed to move out 1 month prior to vacating. I gave verbal notice a month prior, but where most staff would take my money and say "It is not our problem, you should have paid attention to your lease" The manager simply put in the computer that I had misunderstood, I had given her a verbal intent to vacate, and she did not make me pay for another month's rent. I don't know of any other place that would not take advantage of taking my money like that when, from a contractual standpoint, she very well could have. This is just one of the many "we are here for the customer's benefit" attitude displayed by all the staff here at Stetson Ridge.

Don't live here, it's a rip off!!!!
I lived in Stetson Ridge for about 6 months and I hated it. The staff is way too NOSY for me, I understand they have a job to do but whenever I was outside walking my dog, someone would always come find a way to talk to me to make sure I was picking up after my pet and would actually stand there to make sure I did it. <br><br>Suzette(the manager) she tells really lame jokes and she sets her own prices for things like the carports and garages, she told me 70 for a garage and my roommate she told him 45 for a garage. Suzette needs to take manager training and learn some things because to me she never knew what she was doing, running around like a chicken with it's head cut off. The new girl she hired Stephanie doesn't have a clue about anything, every time I asked her something she didn't know the answer, even after being there for 2 months. The assistant mgr Jerrilyn is rude too. She has a bit of an attitude, and seems like she doesn't have too much patience. THINGS TO KNOW!!!!
One of the worst places to move to. The maintenance sucks. I have had a guy with loud bass and had to call someone over to turn it down. Our ac didnt work in the summertime when i was pregnant!! The hallway closet broke off without hardly touching it.<br><br>Parking sucks!<br>Theres only soo many free parking spots, and when you cant find one you have to park way on the other side of the community and walk.<br>Too much to pay for.<br>The apartment is soo small with only so many windows.Totally too much for what you get.<br><br>You have to pay 22$ a month to take out your own trash!!! I take out a couple bags of trash and i have to walk ....why do we have to pay?The only nice thing is its in a decent neighborhood.

Saving Wildlife Within The Commnunity
The ground maintenance person is brand new to the community and took the time to repond to a resident who reported "wild bunny was hit by a moving van today." This was very upsetting to the resident, who for the last 4 years had been leaving carrots out. The ground personnel immediately contact the Humane Society. The Humane Society was unable to get to the property, but that did not stop him. NO! He contacted a family member and rushed the bunny to the Humane Society to recovery! The staff care about the natural wildlife within the community!

Professional Office AND Maintenance!
This is my 4th apartment community (my job makes me relocate a lot) but it is the BEST place I have ever lived! This staff seems to have the rare ability to be professional both in the office AND in maintenance. Whatever my needs are, they take care of me quickly. THey have a motto here - yes I can, and they actually live it! Thanks Stetson Ridge - you make it worth my time to write this for you! Mrs. B.

Better Than I Could Of Imagined
Since my husband and I moved to Stetson Ridge we have fallen in love with the neighbors, staffing and site itself. We needed maintanence and literally minutes later they showed up. We have been welcomed w/ opened arms and have no problems w/ parking, noise or grounds. All in all we have to say it's the best decision we could have made.

Incredible staff during and after blizzard!
You know you are in good hands when the rest of the city shuts down, but the staff where I live at Stetson Ridge was there taking care of business. The manager and maintenance staff were on hand, and they handled everything beautifully. Hats off!!
