DO NOT MOVE HERE
Broken Garage = car was broken into! Would not supply the camera footage Elevator was broken for 6! Months The grounds smell like animal feces Packages constantly stolen! HVAC in my unit was broken July-Oct, electric bill went up to 367$ from 89$ a month bc of the portable swamp cooler that did NOT cool the apartment. They did not care, they did not compensate for the broken AC or discomfort. When asked to terminate lease they charged me $4100 instead of helping a tenant who lived there for 4 years. Christopher Gamble and Rachel Little in the office will NOT help you, they do NOT care about any issues and gaslight you. Do NOT move into this building. This building is falling apart and not worth the money, nor the lack of tenant care.

Overall I like the inside of the apartment in spite of aging appliances. It's the upkeep of the grounds, ammenities and service that are sorely lacking and declining. My car has been broken into three times within a year while parked in the gated garage. There are no cameras and the management couldn't care less. Do yourself a favor and don't even waste your time touring this place.

The prices are getting expensive. The carpets are old and stained. They also smell like dog urine. I spoke to a couple of people from the office regarding a mistake they made and they were useless. Very poor customer service! They didn't even try to fix their mistake. Nothing compared to other places we have stayed.

Great location with larger than average apartments and a caring Managment team that gets things done. Looked at the rest but still think this is the best for value comfort and overall amenities.

NEVER LIVE HERE!!!! Seems as if management is only there to suck money out of you. I have been here for a year and feel like I'm living in a jail cell. They make it very hard to break a lease, they also will try and get money out of you any way they can. Once they even lost my rent check and then claimed i put it in the wrong slot and then charged me a late fee and all these other fees. i also called maintenance once to fix my bathroom sink and they came and fixed the wrong sink. seriously find somewhere else to live.

Absolutely never live here. While the apartments are nice, the management is terrible and scammed us out of over $300. They verbally told us it was refundable and then said that their contract said it was not, and now refuse to give it back. It's not worth any of the amenities of the apartment to deal with the horrible people at the Boulevard.

I have lived here for 3 years now. While the noise levels are increasing, the disappointment lies in the managements ability to keep the building clean. The walls need reprinting and the carpets need to be replaced. Also, trash lines the hallways and takes weeks for it to be removed.

Think twice about this place....
I have lived here for almost two years this June. The first 12 months were great and I renewed my lease. As for the last 12 months, I am counting the days until I can leave... The noise is a SERIOUS issue. The person that lives above me has been a nightmare to say the least. I can hear every step that is taken - from 5:30am - 11:30pm, except on the weekends when it doesn't start till around 7:45am (talk about a nice Saturday slumber). I have made numerous complaints to the office and there has been no resolution to the situation. I gave up after the last message I received from the manager stating, and I quote, "there's not much I can about it... it's a grey area. Plus, it's not like he's up there throwin a kegger." On top of that, the rest of the office staff is lackluster at best. When you need something done, I can count on multiple requests most of the time before it's done. Overall, the grounds are kept pretty well. But if you like to BBQ, don't plan on using on the the community BBQ's. They are just about all broken or missing part of the grill, and half the time you run the risk of igniting the entire complex just to get the grill lit. And on top of everything, they had the nerve to raise my rent 15% to renew this upcoming year. I was already planning on moving out, but reading the terms of the new lease and dollar amounts made me laugh. Bottom line... I'd think twice about moving to this place. The hastle at the end of the day with all of the shortcomings outweighs the location and convenience of being downtown.

I would recommend
We have been here for about a year now. Our lease is coming up for renewal and our rent is going up a good bit - that is probably the biggest disappointment we've encountered since living here. Noise? Yes. You can hear the people above you and in speaking with other tenants, it seems to be quite common. The floors are not concrete as one would expect them to be in a low/mid-rise. Is the noise unbearable? Usually not. We have made one complaint on our neighbors above us, and they were notified of the complaint. We still hear them though. If you work graveyard, you may want to live on the top (4th) floor. Otherwise, you may have interrupted sleep. The grounds are kept up and the location is perfect. As with any other community, there is trash - people that is. Those that are not considerate of others...i.e. taking up two parking spots, not picking up after their dog, or blasting their music/tv. But overall, our experience here has been excellent. Maintenance is completely on top of their game; at least they have been for us - quick responses and quick fixes to just a few minor problems that we have had. Parking is good - you may not get to park on your floor, but no big deal. The elevator and stairs are convenient enough to get to your floor. So, is this a perfect place to live? No. It's not a penthouse at the Sugar Cube! It is however, convenient to downtown, shopping and freeways. 20 minutes to the airport and within walking distance to many restaurants and clubs. They give you loaner mountain bikes to use which is really nice, since we are right across the street from the Cherry Creek trail. The front office people have been very nice and pleasant and I don't see them as snobby. So, with this long winded review, I do recommend living here. Just know that it is not perfection, but the location and amenities are hard to find in the downtown Denver area - especially for the price.

Rude Property Managers, Poor Customer Service and They WILL take your Lease Deposit
Much better apartments or homes available for this price range. Street parking for friends is a hassle and it's easy to get parking tickets in this area. They charge for water and it comes from a separate billing company that charges late fees and usage rate is questionable. Leasing managers are not genuinely friendly and they have a policy of taking lease deposits unless the apartment is in immaculate condition. Wall noise is a big issue. People can here you and you can here them so privacy becomes a problem. Long narrow hall ways makes for horrible moving conditions and inconvenient daily living. Avoid at all costs.

Noise
I've been here for about three months now and I can't wait to move out. Honestly, I love the location, the place is pretty nice, but you can pretty much hear everything. Perhaps I just have a bad luck to be in between lousy neighbors. I thought this place would have more mature people but I thought wrong.

I've lived in the Boulevard for 2 years and am moving out next month to a townhome I just purchased in LoHi. Must say I am looking forwarded to leaving this place and being done with uppity apartment managers. As someone who has moved around a lot and lived in many apartments, and gone through the move-in / move-out process one too many times, I probably have a particulat bias against apartment cronies. Parking is convenient but does have some issues. Like others have said, it's pretty dark in some areas. Driving up and around three stories for me has gotten old. Oh and don't dare forget to put the little decal on your vehicle or park in the wrong spot, or they'll plaster this impossible-to-remove, large warning sticker all over your window. Noise can be annoying at times if you have low tolerance. I frequently hear feet stomping in the unit above, but to be honest it really doesn't bother me too much. Actually, I'm probably more guilty then victim when it comes to noise as I like to play movies through my surround sound. Grounds are generally kept clean. No complaints there. I haven't noticed any trash issues that others had although that may be because I live up on the 3rd floor. (there are 4 floors total.) Safety: Not really an issue. The place has kind of a "fortress" feel to it. Although the garage could potentially have issues. Construction/Maintenance: I've had call maintenance to deal with HVAC issues twice. But not a big deal since my 2 BR actually has 2 seperate units / controllers. Other than that, no issues. Staff: Like I mentioned above, I've lived in many apartments. The staff here is no better than anywhere else. Actually, probably a bit worse. They are very heavy handed with all the petty little rules and policies. Probably more snobish than most. They'll pulled a little "bait and switch", claiming they would change any lightbulb for free, than rescinded that to only lightbulbs "out of reach". One time they powerwashed the garage and ordered everyone to move thier vehicles or be towed/fined, then allowed waste product to drip over the slabs and dirty up my car which was moved to where they said to move it, and indignantly refused to do anything about it. I could go on and on.... Overall: I give them 3 out of 5. I think the apartments across the street (The Acoma?) may be causing some fierce competition because thier renewal offer (which I refused), would have lowered my rent by about $200 bucks per month.

Management Sucks!
I lived at the Boulevard for 1 year and it is true they have pretty ok apartments, however the management office is the WORST I have ever encountered and that can make your life a living hell!. 1- They have a courtyard with a BBQ that is ALWAYS broken. I was planning to have a little family reunion at the BBQ so I asked them when was the BBQ being fixed 'cause I wanted to bring some people over and they said that we are only allowed 2 guest per person in the building! Plus that they are not responsible for the fact that the missing piece to fix it hasnt arrived in the past 3 months! 2-They lost a $250 package I was supposed to get and they simply said they were not responsible for that and that they never received it. Of course I had a tracking number and contacted FEDEX and they had a signature saying the building did receive it! I can simply warn you NOT to move to The Boulevard.

Not sure......
I'm shocked with the other negative reviews!!! I was under the impression (from the leasing ofc) that everyone LOVES it here, and this is where all the pretty people live! I'm honestly glad to read the comments others have had about noise, as my biggest complaint is also noise coming from my neighbors. They blast their music and TV, and I hear the bass and crash and booms of movies and TV. The neighbor above me frequently stomps his feet on the floor out of the blue, and scares the s**t out of me. I've complained so incessantly about the noise, and not one thing has been done--or at least if the leasing ofc has addressed the problem, the tenants aren't paying a damn bit of attn. I've been assured that the leasing ofc has a "no tolerance" policy, but clearly, I find the leasing ofc all talk, no action. I've given up, and now my home has just become a source of stress for me. I dread coming home after working all day and being up (often) at 3a-4a, and working until 7-8p. I just want a quiet place to come home to and relax for a few hrs before I do it again. But now, when I come home, I immediately tense and just wait to hear the boom or thud or crash or bang of movies/TV, or the bass of music. When I actually have a quiet night, I'm overjoyed and so thankful, because it's rare that it happens. I like the building, and I love the location. I like having a parking garage, although, like others have said, if you get home after 5pm during the wk, don't expect to find a space on your floor. You will likely end up on one of the top levels. The garage is poorly lit in some areas--literally black--due to lightbulbs being burnt out. I think that's a safety and security issue. People fly thru the garage and around the turns, and I don't understand why there are no mirrors posted in the corners as you go around a turn, so you can see if another car is coming. I've damn near come close to head on collisions because the person coming in the opposite direction was driving at 25mph and making a wide turn. The building is clean, and aesthetically pleasing. There is a trash problem over the wknd and holiday wknds. The trash backs up and you can't throw your trash down the chute. So everyone just puts it on the floor and there have been days where I've gone in on Mon AM as I'm leaving for work, and the trash is literally overflowing out of the trash room. If you dump off trash anytime after Sat night, you will be unable to put it down the chute, which means that trash sits out for almost 48 hrs on the floor. Nothing like asking to have a bug problem and/or rodent problem......Perhaps someone needs to come in and empty the trash bins so we can actually throw our trash away. I do feel the leasing staff is uppity, and like others have said, make you feel as if THEY are doing you a favor by letting you live here. I find them non-responsive to complaints/concerns, and when I had an urgent need for maintenance on a Sat, the leasing agent rudely told me that a request would be put in. I had a gazillion things to do that day, and needed to know when they would be there, so I could plan accordingly. I was practically snarled at, and told "they will get there when they get there." I pressed on for a better answer, and was finally told that because it was an emergency, someone would be there within 30". I was made to feel like I really put this person out, and I had no right to be asking any questions, because they were doing me a favor by sending maintenance to my apt. It was just odd. Yet 2 days later, I was addressed and talked to like I was one of the "beautiful people." I think this is a good place to live due to location. Rents aren't that bad; however, you will hear your neighbors and everything they do, and the leasing agents won't be that responsive to your requests/concerns/complaints. If you are okay with noise from others, and don't need or want or like quiet (or at least reasonable quiet), then this would be fine. Otherwise, you may want to actually speak to an actual tenant or 2 first. That said, there are a lot of good things about the place, and those good things just may outweight the bad things........but I'm not sure just yet. Check back in a few months.

Absolutely Fabulous!
After reading many of the previous reviews I am floored. I have lived at the Boulevard now for about a year and a half and expect to renew my lease again. The staff is absolutely amazing. They always refer to me by my first name are personable and incredibly responsive to my needs. The maintenence staff is also wonderful. They are timely in repairing apt needs and respect my privacy. My only complaint is that the grounds are frequently unkept. The grills are more often than not broken and hot tub area could be cleaner. As far as noise... I rarely hear my neighbors. It's an apartment building and unfortunately noise can't be completely avoided. The boulevard, while a tad overpriced I agree, is an excellent place to live and I would certainly recommend it any day of the week.

Can't wait to leave!!!
The staff here is horrible! If you have any type of need or problem don't bother seeking any type of assistance. The manager loves to tell you how it's not something she handles...what does she do??? The rest of the staff just have that blank look. Group of idiots sorry to say. In fact, you'll only get resistance. The place is going downhill appearance-wise as well. It smells and the hallway carpets are filthy. BBQ's are always broken! Looking forward to moving to a nicer, pleasant apartment complex. If you are a business professional, don't look here! You'll be sorry like we are!!!!

Watch your security deposit
We paid $300 for our deposit a year ago and busted our --- to clean that place when we moved out. Aside from hiring a cleaning service, that is as clean as that loft will ever be. Of course, they had to find something wrong so they could keep our $300...they fined us $5 for a dirty sink, $20 for a dirty microwave, $15 for a dirty shower door (which I specifically remember buying special cleaner to get every spot off the glass door) and the list goes on and on...We overpaid $1800 for a 2 bedroom for an entire year, we were never late on rent and they still nickle and dimed us in the end. Bottom line, don't waste hours cleaning ---- cause they are just going to keep your money any way.

Fantastic Apartment
I just moved into The Boulevard and love it! The office staff was easy to work with during the application process and so helpful on move-in day. I moved into my apartment on the same day as 6 other apartment renters and instead of pure chaos, management made the process painless. The amenities are amazing for the price of the rent and parking is incredible. I didn't reserve a parking space and still have never had any problems parking on my floor. My boyfriend and I are both lease holders and even though we're in a one bed, one bathroom floor plan both of us have parking passes to the garage (with no additional charge for the second space). We looked at 5 other LoDo/Golden Triangle apartments and no other rentals would allow 2 spaces without additional charge ($150.00 extra). Many complaints on this site say noise is a huge problem. I am on the third floor and can occasionally hear my neighbors on the one side of me and above me. However, the noise is not loud enough or often enough to even compare to some of the other apartments I've rented. If you don't want to hear your neighbors period, don't live in an apartment! (Sorry to say this, but if you think noise is terrible here, your expectations are way too high.) Our A/C didn't seem to be working the day of move-in so we walked down to the Leasing Office and put in a maintenance request. We had someone in the apartment with the A/C blasting less than an hour later. The service here really is great. The hallways and garage are very clean and overall, I'm excited to live here. As my boyfriend told me the day we moved in, "We don't deserve this nice of a place." I couldn't agree more. I would recommend The Boulevard any day of the week.

Great Place
I've decided that the only time anyone would write a review on here is so they can complain. Most reviews on this website are negative. I lived at The Boulevard for two years and loved everything about it. It was definitely the best apt building I ever lived in. The staff at the office was excellent to deal with as well. My only complaint about living here was the parking. I wished there was assigned parking rather than just having people park where they want.

The Boulevard Rocks...
I have lived here for two years. The office staff is professional and very friendly. I live on the top floor so I don't know what the noise is like overhead, however the noise from the neighbors on both sides of me is non-existant. The units are built well. Although I don't socialize with people in the building, everyone seems friendly. When I read the bad reviews it made me wonder if they were written by the competition or those few people in the world who tend to be negative and bitter about most everything. That's my two cents.

Love this Place!
People who complain about this building are insane and their expectations of living are too high AND they are lazy. I have been living at the Boulevard for 6 months and I have loved every minute of it. The amendities are great, the staff is nice (always say hi on a first name basis) the building is well maintained. There is always parking, even if its not on the floor you live on, its better than outside on a meter where anyone can damage your car. There is minimal noise from anywhere, the most you will hear is someone walking by if you are near your front door. The grounds are beautiful, and I have never felt unsafe walking my dogs at night. The management is aware of any maintenance problems and always try to fix them in a timely manner...however I have yet to see any problems. The staff is super nice, they were when we moved in and still are. Plus Stacey worked very hard to get us in to our dream apartment. I love living here, neighbors are friendly, and its wonderful. Like I said if anyone wants to complain they are nuts! Live at the Boulevard it's great!!!

It looks nice
I have a neighbor upstairs whose every move I hear. The floor vibrates every time they moves. The manager will tell you they have tons of insulation, and that everything was inspected and up to code, but that means jack, b/c it is so damn loud in there. The trash is always full and stinks up the halls. The parking does suck bad! The staff are lame. And don't think about moving out-- they have the most aggressive lease terms I've ever seen, and will use every opportunity to take more of your money. They are absolute jackals.

Elephant? Aerobics Class? Mammoth in Cement Shoes?
The leasing office will treat you as though they're VERY selective in accepting tenants and you are made to feel that you're lucky a place has become available for you. For the prices, one assumes that this is a building where serious, professional people live. Then, after you get roped into a totally inflexible contract (you can't even change apartments), you discover that you are awakened every night (between 2 and 6 am, depending) by the drunken 20-something upstairs doing laps in her high heels while fighting with her boyfriend. The toilet flushes, the doors slam, and suddenly, you worry that she might fall right through your ceiling and wreck your new electronics purchases. The fourth time this happened (wearing earplugs, no less), I banged on the wall to signal my dismay, putting my fists with ease through the paper-thin walls at first contact. The construction is a joke, I don't know how they can charge these prices to live in a cardboard box painted in pretty colors. With a "social director" who is a cheerleader that they're very proud of, what can you expect? The building across the street is being constructed by the same company, it's a behemoth which has gone up in 12 weeks, go figure.
