It's not been great. They originally told me this was a renovated unit. When I moved in, she told me it was partially renovated. No dishwasher or microwave. Whatever. It's annoying but fine. They also had to have me wait days to move in past my original date because of water damage. I have put in work orders they mark as complete but never actually come fix. Then they turned the heat off when it was 90 outside. For a week it was over 80 in my apartment. Finally enough people complained that they turned it back on. The day it went back on, the hot water miraculously stopped working. If it's not one thing, it's another around here.

Sin quejas, muy satisfecho de vivir aqu?, todo excelente y muy afectivo a la hora de requerir o necesitar algo del complejo, un poco m?s de control en el ?rea de las piscinas ya que muchas de las personas que entran hacen mal uso de ellas, como por ejemplo tirarse del techo de mantenimiento y eso perjudica al resto

Called because the wrong 3rd party paid my rent and I wanted to use Flex as my bank account didn't have the full amount I Called the office like they told me to and was told on the 2nd she get ahold of the people that handle that and someone would reach out to me it's now the 6th and I haven't heard from anyone at all about my issue this isn't the first time something like this has happened and I got that same response. Luckily I was able to borrow money but I was trying to avoid that

Would not recommend living here. Office is not very helpful. Parking is horrible. Packages are stolen. Loud music all the time at night. The only thing that is not an issue here is the maintenance team.

This community was a great place to live when we first moved in but now people don't care about their Neighbors any more. The owners, staff don't work or help with repairs needed to the new upgrades.

Office is often closed contrary to listed hours. I've even seen them close early before the weekend. There have also been occasions where insufficient notice is given for building projects (such as recently for parking lot resurfacing). I saw cars being towed off for this project (and some pi**ed off tenants as a result) when the only notice given was by email shortly before the event. No flyers on the door or anything- as if we all check our email every day (it would be more likely we open our apt door to get that info in a more timely manner). We were even notified on a Friday to leave our doors unlocked (?!) the next day for a specific time window so crews could come around to paint the inside door jambs (wtf?). Most of all however, I hate that rental payment options are limited to paying online. Sure, it's easier for most people. But the goal should be making it easy for everybody. Not just the people collecting the $. I'd also like to see dumpsters more frequently emptied.

My experience has been alright. I have had issues with the leasing office not being able to create an accurate lease. When I go to them with any concern I don't get the friendliest person and feel like I am bothering them with my concerns. The last time I spoke with the leasing manager she left a bad taste in my mouth by the way she handled things and talked to me. The development is starting to look a little cleaner but there is still issues with people leaving trash and mattresses behind the dumpster. Homeless people are sleeping in the laundry rooms which the leasing office told me there is nothing they can do. This last February a homeless man set fire to the laundry room building and it took the leasing office over 6 months to fix it. When I have reached out to Avanti about my concerns no one gets back to me. This apartment is not the best for the value.

It trash. The "amenities" and appliances are trash. They neighbors leave their trash all over, it blows into the courtyards and common areas. Their dogs ---- and piss all over their patios and it smells to high heavens.

I WOULD NOT recommend anyone here the place is sooo annoying everyone in the dam apartments party late all weekend long in all buildings loud music and rude. Also you got your non sound proof floors for upper levels which cause drama and issues and not to mention there is NEVER any parking ! Ever and you got people working on there cars hitting your cars SPRAY PAINTING wheels and stuff next to your cars and god for bid you come in your home watch a show then your upstairs neighbors make it hell and the apartment mangers don’t do anything about it even though they’ve obviously probably had complaints about the soundproofing. They can at least put some stuff on the floors that don’t have carpet to make it more livable but it’s not. And then let’s go to any amenities. Plumbing is sucky throughout the whole apartment. Things get clogged up on top of that you share water heater so you don’t have water to take a shower at 5 o’clock when you come home till like nine or 10 at night, even then you might have cold water there’s no washer and dryer’s it’s kinda ok to… See More>9/5/2023

I like the apartment the staff is very friendly and nice they respond very quickly if there is a maintenance problem I don't like how they charge our guest a parking fee to come visit when there is cars with expired plates

Overall this is a great place to live, but they need to start regulating the parking more. There are not enough spaces, and often cars are left abandoned or un-registered for lengths of time. It's annoying to work late at night and come home to no parking available anywhere in the lot.

Very friendly. Repairs have been prompt and professional. Questions have been answered in a timely manner as well. I enjoy my patio and the privacy it offers. They take my concerns with regards to my parking seriously.

N/A nothing good to say. The laundry facilities are always broken, so many things are broken in my apartment I can't keep track, my neighbors are awful, the maintenance people are sketchy, the management is a revolving door, I pay way too much rent for absolutely none of the amenities they supposedly offer, I pay for parking even though there's never anywhere to park and I end up parking in a public parking lot in a shopping mall and walking 5 blocks to get home, no one ever answers to the fact that we pay fees for improvements in our community that are never seen.

My experience with Heights on Huron has been a downhill battle. We have had an increase in rent, hundreds of dollars each of the two times we have signed a new lease agreement. Parking was orginally included in rent and now is a required out of pocket payment. It took matience 3 months to address and repair my broken dishwasher. Every time that i have tried to contact rental office about issues, i never recieve a return call or email. Always broken glass and garbage all over the walkways and grassy areas. Would not recommend Heights on Huron to anyone.

Terrible. Maintenance requests take forever to resolve. Pest situation keeps getting worse and every ticket for it they resolve with just saying put on list for exterminator. The front desk office is a pain to get a hold of for emergency tickets. This may be one of the worst living experiences I have and

The worst place I ever moved into you guys don't keep up on updating your equipment your appliances you guys don't give out emails that you change vendors I'm towing hey guys don't let other apartments know that other apartments have asbestos in them while we're living there breathing in the same vents so worst place I ever lived lack of communication and a lack of respect from the office.

The apartments are good. The only thing it's that when I go out of my apartment it's smells a lot like weed and I don't even smoke. The park is sucks. You need to get home early to be able to get a parking.

The office is incompetent. Evelyn who is office manager is also incompetent. The maintenance takes forever to repair anything I'm talking about months. I have 2 dogs that are service animals and Evelyn is brought up 3 times that why haven't I been paying monthly for them. It's free for service animals and it's illegal to question someone about their service dogs. I feel like I get harrrased everytime by her.Do better!

Helpfulness of the staff depends on who is working. Current staff as of oct 2022 is very helpful. Maintenance is pretty quick. Apartments aren't in the best conditions and you are paying ALOT for not a great complex or neighbors. Overall, could be ALOT worse

We thought this place would be great, the model apartment they showed us was beautiful it came with a microwave and a dishwasher and then the day of move-in which is the first day we got to see our apartment we have no dishwasher and no microwave and they tell us that they are not going to give us any and we pay $1600 a month for a one bedroom. Our ceiling fan just broke and now they're telling us that they can't fix it because the maintenance men are not the people that installed it, it says in our lease that they are responsible to fix all of our electrician will problems right away. ------ ------- apartment complex and horrible management.

I think over the years the community has slowly improved. Nicer office staff , better maintenance crew, shoveling the complex has gotten better and it was paved last year (finally). Its one of the most affordable in the area but the laundry facility below each building is sub par and this place should be cheap. But its a nice location and i appreciate the improvements that have been made over the years. Only complaint- no parking:( we need more. I work swing shift and i have to walk across the whole parking lot every night to find a spot. Thanks!

Office staff changed often first few years, same with maintenance staff. Maintenance problems are usually handled timely. Rent increases more than $75 a year with no updates for our apartment/property
