Love this place!
We love the Park Plaza. The entire apartment was renovated before we moved in; the manager is accessible and helpful; the staff is consistently good; and we recognize everyone. We don´t have a car so I don´t care about parking, but it´s probably pretty tight. I DO have a dog and I enjoy being near other dog-owners. I only wish the fitness room were a little bigger!

rodents, unproffessional staff, and more
I only lived at this horrible property for not even a year. The manager is very unproffessional she is never available to talk too, or see. We have very large rats that walk inside the walls its freeky, dogs urine everywhere. The security in the bldg. is not good. I could ´ve put up with rats, and dogs urine, if at least the manager was proffessional, and able to assist you when you needed her. But It never happened.

Livin´ large with little money spent
I have been living here for almost five years now. I live in a very spacious one-bed room with a balcony view of the national cathedral (although quite far away, still a good view), and I spend just under $1000 dollar per month.

Indoor garage, swimming pool, fitness center are just another great features of Park Plaza.

It is located right around the center of Adams Morgan, which I have to say provide the most exotic night life views.

Value for money in DC, for the most part
I was fairly happy with Park Plaza initially. For such a behemoth of a building, it´s nice that the staff at reception bother to learn your name. One problem I have had so far is that some walls are absolutely paper-thin, and therefore much of the quality of one´s living experience depends on the habits of the neighbors. Mine watch television loudly all night in the room sharing a wall with my bedroom.
Another matter is the recent rash of problems with the landlord´s managing policies. I´ve heard several stories lately of tenants´ complaints being ignored and rights being abused. The stories have come from several different sources, so I am rather confident in their legitimacy. It´s a shame, because on the surface Park Plaza seems like a well put-together product.

What a wonderful place!
I love this place! They allow pets of all sizes, and the tenants are VERY responsible with their pets. There is no mess. The neighbors are very friendly, too. The maintenance and management staff are outstanding. There are ample places to walk the dog, including Meridian Hill Park, not far away, and a place not too far from the National Zoo. There is a Metro stop not far away, and several busses that will take you just about anywhere. Utilities are included, I NEVER hear my neighbors, the hallways are clean. I can´t think of a downside to this place. It´s terrific.
