    No major complaints. The central location is a big plus and makes everything very convenient. The leasing manager is great?professional, responsive, and easy to work with. Cons: The maintenance crew can be inconsistent. Some repairs aren't fully resolved the first time, which means follow-ups and delays. Improving the quality and thoroughness of their work would make a noticeable difference.

          It is a nice property with a great location. All the carpets the hallways are very dirty, they need replacement. I like to pool and the jacuzzi but he pool is not heated in the winter, so it's difficult to use the pool in the cold months.

            I am so happy at the Whitney. The maintenance team Is so good and I love the amentitoes. The only issue I have is on the weekends the pool gets crowded with outside guest. I wish there was a way to control this.

                  The whole leasing process was super quick and amazing. I was able to identify what unit I wanted very quickly and the service of the leasing agents were amazing, always helping me at any point with questions and concerns.                     Hallways are hot, pool area smells bad and not enough chairs for us to use and more expensive compared to other buildings in area. Leasing office does nothing to reward loyalty or negotiate prices. Fetch and one elevator always seems to be down

                        My experience at this apartment complex has been great. The front office is responsive and kind. Amenities are always being improved. The only complaint I have is that the guest parking is extremely limited. Other than that, I'd highly recommend the Whitney.

                          The Whitney is a great community to live in. It was built recently, the apartment we chose we love, we definitely love calling our apartment home. Security is pretty good, it's hard to get in if you don't have your fobs.

                            I have had a lot of fun living here and made new friends as I am a transplant from Manhattan, New York. It's a nice building very transient, the person that fixed my tub is my favorite as he has just such a customer focused personality ventilation is not good for the North tower the A 7 line.

                              Horrible management, good location and planning

                              First of all I have to admit that whoever built this complex was really thoughtful and professional. The areas are planned well, you can access the gym just by getting down the elevator, there are plenty of common areas to work and relax, and the design is very modern. However, the management is pathetic. They work to make your life here not as great as possible but a nightmare. I am a current resident but writing this review from a different account because I know what they do to people who leave bad reviews - they don’t return deposits and make life here even more miserable (from real examples). What you read from other's real (not simulated/paid 5-star reviews) reviews is true. There are problems with security with random people knocking at your door without having any access to the building, numerous car break-ins, the garage door breaking 1-2 days after being fixed and strangers entering the parking lot directly from the street, dog poop and pee smell at the pool area, dirty smelly carpets on the floors after pets, stolen mail, garage elevator has not been working for almost a year since the the heavy rain in Fort Lauderdale etc; all are well known issues. The worst thing, however, is the people who are supposed to help you and work to make your life easy and enjoyable. The management is a NIGHTMARE - full of snakes and thugs. They behave as if they are a royal family descendants and you are a miserable peasant coming to plead for something (after you signed a lease of course). They think they are the smartest and most amazing. Ari and her minion Braxton rule this parade of absurd and be sure you won't get anything but an attitude you have never deserved in your life. They are lacking the simplest skills of courtesy, respect, and kindness. I didn't have much interaction with the General manager but he seemed to be a very decent person but also the one who's not trying to be involved in the drama with those 2 "queens" above. The maintenance requests are done fast and the lady responsible for those is very nice - special thanks to her and a huge sorry that she has to work with these folks. I lived in Dubai, China, and Europe and have never expected to encounter this behavior from the management. The place that is supposed to be a luxury resort and bring you joy and feeling of being home turns for a quite a bit of money is being ruined by a couple of hillbillies that do not know how to treat people and spit their rural habits on their residents and turns out to be a below average condominium. I am sorry to write this because I like the location and the concept, but I would never recommend living here to a friend!

                                Worst management

                                The worst building management I have ever encountered-incompetent and careless. I just moved out and they couldn’t even do this properly. I was trying to hand in my keys and fob but the only person at leasing office had left the office with no contact information etc even though she knew exactly when I was moving. I waited for half and hour but finally had to leave as I had to meet my movers at my new location and had a certain elevator time reserved at the new building-I was forced to leave the keys in a plastic bag with my name and wrote my phone number with a “please call me” message. Nobody called. I received a cryptic email from the main manager the next day asking if I returned my keys as well as a phone call that I missed. When I emailed back, it said she was out of the office and nobody picked up or returned any of my NUMEROUS calls. I left emails to management to pls call me asap and I am still waiting. Undoubtedly they will try to charge me for “unreturned keys”. Absolutely unprofessional.

                                  Great place to live!

                                  I just moved in last week and I love it! I had to do a cross-country move by myself and Ari Gonzalez in the leasing office made my experience stress free. She answered all of my emails promptly and was extremely organized. The apartment itself is beautiful, and the community is great. The residents are mostly young professionals so it is a sophisticated atmosphere. It's nice and quiet, even though you are in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you're planning on moving to Fort Lauderdale, you won't be disappointed!

                                      Amazing Experience

                                          I have lived at the Whitney since 2019 when the south tower was brand new. At first, it was calm, quiet, and I absolutely loved it. I have to say the majority of my time here has been positive, but within the last year, things have gone downhill. I know COVID has changed many things for properties but I would say one of the biggest issues in this building is the elevators. Ever since I have been here there has been at least ONE elevator broken, not working, or another issue every month. I thought this was a temporary or normal issue but it is constant and definitely not normal. I have gotten stuck on the elevator and so has my husband. I often wait 5-15 minutes to get on an elevator. If you’re tired from working, have to walk your dog, are running late, or just need to run somewhere, this can be super frustrating. Management has not made this a priority and all the residents are annoyed. We have too many people in this 25 floor building to only have one functioning elevator. It’s ridiculous. Prices are going up for rent and management is not doing things to improve the quality of the building either. I love the location, staff, and most residents are pretty friendly, but don’t see myself staying here. Also, if you don’t like dogs or dog smell, don’t live here. Everyone has a dog and I often find piss in the elevators that people don’t clean. This is my 2 cents.

                                            Overall this is a great place to live. The location is amazing and they just keep adding to it. Very clean and the gym is fully equipped. The recent rent increase for current residents should be illegal. A few small hiccups but overall it is a great place.

                                                I love this community!! I just move in a few weeks ago and I couldn't be happier!! My apartment is gorgeous I have an amazing view and everything is very modern and brand new. The location is awesome is close to all the restaurants, shops, bars, fitness centers and all the entertainment that Fort Lauderdale have to offer. The amenities are gorgeous everything is always clean and smells delicious, there is art everywhere everything is very technological and user friendly, and the application process was super easy thanks to Harold in the leasing office. FIVE SOLID STARS =)

                                                  I thought that living at The Whitney Fort Lauderdale would be a dream come true. It is advertised as a high-end luxury building, however, the second I signed the lease it turned into my worst nightmare. First, the staff are absolutely useless to the point that they provided me with an incorrect address to ship all my belongings to initially causing ½ my moving boxes to be lost, and to this date months after I moved in, my address still does not "exist" which means that the renter's insurance they insist we have and that I am paying for does not cover me and mail doesnt make it to me. Further, the staff can be caught filming you without your consent on a regular basis with their iPhones at night (CREEPY!) and are simply downright rude and disrespectful to you 95% of the time. The fact of the matter is they are racist and will single you out and publically embarrass you. Picking up a package? They ensure that you know that you are inconveniencing them, yet, the package system is broken and has been pushed back being fixed again and again. Photos portray a beautiful area and a nice building, but the reality of the situation is the Whitney is surrounded by ------ and should you walk at night you should be afraid, I have been harassed and felt unsafe every single time I have exited the building. The Whitney brags about their amenities and they could be nice if they worked! Would you like to buzz someone into the building, ButterflyMX the software has yet to work. Want a coffee in the morning? Nope, the machine is broken, again. That beautiful pool, full of runoff dog urine from the conveniently placed dog run next to it. The waterfall, wait, what waterfall - doesn't exist. Hoping to print something, well you'll have to email your personal documents to the staff first, they'll print them for you and then you have to try and track them down and are so inconvenienced by any request. The guest parking is never available, there are regularly 5+ booted cars taking up all the spots, and your car WILL get booted if you park around the Whitney. The units are extremely pricy for the square footage, they are small, typically without a view and located in the ------ of Fort Lauderdale. If you have a pet this "pet-friendly" building is NOT for you. There are several large vicious dogs here that will jump on you and attack you and your dog. The "dog run" is opposit of exactly that, your pet must be leashed (excepts no ones is) and you get finned for using this area which also smells like a dog poop dumpster which wafts into the pool area making it smell like a 3rd world animal shelter all of the time. But why all the good reviews? The Whitney Fort Lauderdale has a rewards system in which they give their tenants gifts and money to post reviews - they literally pay for their fake 5 star reviews. If you would like to waste your time, just come for a tour and see how true each of these facts are which is why

                                                    Hello Daisy, We found your exact same posting on Yelp, therefore I wanted to address you by name. It seems there is a misunderstanding about a few matters that should be cleared them up. Penthouse homes are the only homes that have a different apartment number, pretty standard in most luxury buildings. No one in the building has reported issues receiving mail. After checking ERenters, which is the insurance company most of our residents use, all homes are listed accurately. The community is equipped with cameras in our common areas spaces as is most high-rises in the downtown area. Most people believe that to be a benefit. Well, unless they are upset that they are on camera breaking community policies, which, luckily, isn't the case in most instances at The Whitney.The package concierge was out of service for approximately three days at which point all team members had access to packages and distributed. Additional staff was brought on to assist with the situation because customer service is of the utmost importance to us, hence all of the positive reviews. It should also be mentioned that this issue was with the package locker provider's software. All communities who use this provider experienced the same outage. We can't stop inconveniences from happening, but we can provide the best experience possible when they occur, which is what we strive to do 100% of the time.As a new building, there tends to be vacancies until it is stabilized. The Whitney is at the tail end of this now. Yay for us! As more folks move into the building, we get new amazing neighbors every day!! It is what makes our community so great! Well, that and the awesome resident events, our super dedicated staff, all the beautiful amenities, and the trendy location.
