Do not rent here.

Any positive review you see about this property, I can almost guarantee that it is fabricated. This is the worst property I have ever stayed at. The units are outdated and dirty upon move-in despite our move-in date being pushed back for "cleaning" of the apartment. The fire alarm has gone off at LEAST once a week for the last 6 months, ranging from 5 minutes to 3 hours, at any time of the day. The mandatory pest control fee is completely useless as my roommate and I have been battling roaches, nats, and ants since move-in. The gate is frequently broken, allowing for non-residents to come in whenever they want and occupy the parking spots that actual residents PAY for monthly, not to mention homeless people wandering around the premises watching people in the gym. The leasing office staff is extremely rude and condescending, except for one girl who just started so she's completely clueless. When we put in maintenance requests for supposed "24 hour emergency maintenance" the requests don't get answered for at LEAST 2 days. Horrible place to rent, you can find way better for cheaper not even a mile up the road.

Living here you get what you get but i do feel like it could be better for the amount of rent that im paying. The parking garage gate is always broken . But besides that maintenance does a very good job always making sure anything that isnt working properly AZ be on top of it great worker

Horrible place to live !! Stay away !!

Lives here 4yrs and can’t wait to leave. Jamika and Alyson in property management harass residents during leasing office hours, they walk around banging on doors and yelling. If your late past day 3 they go in units with security or maintenance with guns drawn out. The units are full of black mold and roach infestations. Maintenance is not qualified for repairs. There is continuous break ins and homeless people live on property.

Apartment is UNSAFE!!! STAY AWAY!

This apartment is UNSAFE. DO NOT LIVE HERE. I have the joy of writing this review as someone who recently had their entire car stolen from the apartment parking garage. The garage that you pay a $25 a month fee to park in. This occurred two months after my car was broken into. Both times, the community manager, Alyson, could not have cared less about my troubles. Now, due to my feeling unsafe here and certainly not comfortable buying another car to park it here, I am attempting to terminate my lease with cause. Alyson denied me, and said this word for word in her response to me: "Although I am deeply sorry that this has happened, we are unable to allow a termination of the lease for this cause. At this time your lease is scheduled to end in December. I do hope that you were able to recover your car and those that did this are held responsible. " How would this make you feel? Also, there are constant evictions here, so that shows you that they rent their units to just about anybody in a desperation to fill this complex. Please do not make the mistake of living here, it is cheaper than the surrounding properties for a reason. As it stands, I am stuck paying 5 more months of rent at an apartment complex that my car was stolen right out of with a community manger who does not care.

I hate it here!

Hello, I am back once again, with another review. This place is terrible. I highly believe that I have a busted pipe above my apartment. I've been having leakages since the day I moved in (August 2023). I recently came home to my lightbulb leaking!! Not the entire fixture, just the light bulb. I put in a work order and because the light bulb was not leaking at the moment, they closed my work order and marked it complete. When I called the leasing office to see why they haven't done a thorough investigation, I was told that the light bulb had to be leaking at that very moment when they walked in. That makes NO SENSE!!!! She then told me to wait until it starts leaking again, then put in another work order. PLEASE TELL ME IF THAT MAKES ANY SENSE???!!!!! They will gaslight the hell out of you for reporting issues with the complex. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!!

Dirty, Burglaries, Breakins, Unprofessional, Unccomunicative

3 YEARS HERE: The most unprofessional, uncommunicative company I have dealt with. Maintenance enters my apt whenever they want and the leasing office constantly FAILS to communicate this! I am required to give them my door code, but that gives them no right to enter my apt without any communication! The security gate is ALWAYS broken and there are burglaries and break ins every single religiously! Hallways are dirty, trash always overfilled, everyone in the leasing office is GARBAGE and need to be SHUT DOWN!

I will keep this simple and concise. I read the reviews prior moving in and with hopes of having a different outcome. Sadly the reviews aligned with the my experience as a new tenant. Once you sign that contract just know that is the last time the leasing office will be attentive to your needs and concerns. The property manager does Not take pride in her job/position and is there just to collect a pay check. There is no penalty for issues not getting addressed for her. She doesn't respond to emails and is very nonchalant. Expectations should be in hell with this property.

The management is horrific. They are money hungry and does not look out for the community that lives in the complex. They steal and tow our cars, the gate to our garage is never working. There has been times where 10 cars at a time has been broken into. Not to mention we placed a order in to get our appliances fixed 6 months ago and they never came.They make you pay a trash violation fee for them not picking up your trash on time. DO NOT LIVE HERE

Don’t move to this unsafe place ! Safety and health hazards

I honestly hate this place now. The dynamic of the office team is absolutely wild and not in a good way. The property manager clearly is just here to collect a check and nothing more. I have been living in hell the last few months based off neglect of apartment and big health and safety concerns. It's mold all over , people get shot at while they sleep and don't tell the residents what's going on , homeless people live in building while I'm paying. It's the ------ and I want out. I have been living with a hole on my wall and ceiling the last month and as of today I'm waiting on a vendor to tell me it's water damage that I already know and have been saying , but clearly unheard because the first time the property manager sent someone to come "patch up" the wall and the kind man said he can't cause it's a bigger issue then paint.. It's the roof, beware moving here I'm afraid the roof may collapse at some point and they won't care !

Jordan the poperty manager is amazing! and I will be renting because of her! She made the process so effortless and has such a genuine vibe about her that you just don't find. It already feels like home. The property is absolutly gorgeous and the atmosphere is what sold it! See yall soon!

FRUIT FLY INFESTATION! Each year the problem within the apartments gets worse and worse. After calling the office every single day, the reps will say "everyone on the property has them". No everyone does not have an infestation like I have had to deal with. They REFUSE to hire professional pest control to fix the issue. Sad excuse for an apartment community.

I went in on a weekend and you know how sometimes you don't get the same treatment on weekends as you'd get on a weekday, but leasing agent Ms Phylis was exceptional as she went over each one bedroom floor plan and loft and took me to each one that was available. She took my application the same day and kept me updated on the progress. An issue came up that required senior management and the Property Manager Tony jumped in and went above and beyond to resolve the issue. This was a team effort and you can tell this is more than just a 9to 5 for them, they actually care about forming relationships. I'm not even in the unit yet and I felt led to write this review. I am grateful to have an opportunity to live in this community, I've been through a lot over the years and this is a breath of fresh air. The community is so up to date, close to Lenox Mall, Phipps Plaza and other Atl buzz worthy attractions. It's such a pleasant environment, as I was greeted by passerby's while viewing the community. I don't know what they are doing over at Optimist Lifts, but if more people acted this way about their future residents, this world would be a better place. I'm excited about this chapter of my story. Thank you Phyllis Thank you Tony. You made this easy!

Ok so where do I start? Location = convenient. Parking Garage= genius. Staff= professional yet friendly. Actual apartment = perfect!!! I normally hate apartment shopping but Optimist Lofts changed my mind, everything was so easy. I highly recommend!!!

Besides being in a great location I really loved the modern design of these apartments. The staff was efficient and very friendly which made living here even better. Plus being conveniently located right next to the hwy, restaurants, stores, and Marta was the cherry on top.

I have lived at this property for 4 years. The Staff & Mainteance Team are extremely courteous and have impeccable Customer Service. During the pandemic, they actually CARE about the residents. I would recommend The Optimist Lofts to anyone who is looking for somewhere to live.

When i first decided to chose optimist lofts as my latest residence, i was skeptical at first just based off the previous reviews of the property. I've been here for a year and 3 months and i am glad to say that this was a great decision to stay. The property is under new management and everyone here is very friendly and helpful. If there's a maintenance type of issue, they are on it within hours. I'm always able to call to the leasing office and get professional and courteous assistance as needed. Tony (the property manager) and Jacoby (assistant property manager) are always asking questions on what would make the property safer and a great place to live. I hope that with all their innovative ideas for the property, this will be the number one best place to live in Buckhead! Would definitely recommend.

I am a prospective resident. I visited this property on 6/15/20. I had scheduled an online tour appointment for 9am. When I arrived unfortunately no one was in the office at that time. However, the on-site maintenance personnel saw that I was looking for someone to assist me. He asked if I needed assistance and I told him that I had a scheduled appointment and that I was interested in seeing a one bedroom. He instantly said well, I can show you the model but it was a two bedroom and then he went above and beyond and was able to access entry to the one bedroom to allow me to view. By the time we arrived back to the leasing office the staff was there welcoming, professional and very friendly. Jacoby, the assistant manager was funny, personable and helpful. The Manager, Tony was so pleasant , welcoming and efficient. A great start to a new beginning. Thank you!

I must say that The Optimist Lofts have been a great experience so far. When I first came to the property, it was because i needed to suddenly move. The property manager understood my issues and was very hands on with making sure I had all the information I needed. Took me on a tour and the amenities were updated, clean and easily accessible. I have a one bedroom and it's enough space for myself and the appliances are all updated and it feels like home. Any maintenance needs have been accommodated within 24/48 hours. Very friendly staff and my favorite reality is my location is very convenient. Any and everything I need is within a couple miles. Great choice for sure.
