As per previous reviews where again, the only response I have received is a comment back trying to prove I am "wrong" rather than support or consideration. I have been targeted multiple times by Nicole, have dealt with multiple garage door opening issues, callbox issues, and elevator issues. Location is great that it is so close to the train and downtown shops. Maintenance is always nice/friendly (all employees I have encountered on the team!), and come fast after requests have been put in.

Community is friendly and location is amazing. I would recommend this place for anyone who wants to have most necessities within walking distance. Walls are thin which is the only problem. If you have noisy neighbors you will hear mostly everything they do.

The staff is very nice and professional. The amenities at The Marke are amazing. The location in downtown Elmhurst is perfect. It’s a really enjoyable place to live. I would definitely recommend The Marke to anyone.

I’ve been super happy here. The staff is always so responsive and the property is kept up very well. Everything is nice and in working order, the building is secure, and we love the pool and our apartment unit itself.

My unit was not fully prepared before my move in. It was really noisy first day until I came to the leasing office and ask them to do something with this noice going from the outside. It turned out that there was no sealant in window cracks, that should help to prevent air and noise leaking. And I had to request a window maintenance on the second day of my residency.

Great location for all elmhurst activities as well as utilizing the train to hop towns. The walls are really thin so I hear all types of noises throughout the night. This is now the second neighbor that is having loud sexual activities late at night which is a Huge nuisance since I wake up each day at 415. Paper thin wall construction

I’ve moved around a lot for work over the last ten years - this was the most efficient move I’ve ever experienced! Everyone I have met has been kind, my dog gets all the sweet attention from everyone in the building- Love the amenities and vibes in general.

Maintenance is excellent, some front staff managers make you feel like you as a tenant is replaceable and aren't always kind, pool is fuhreezing!!!, omg, no one gets in bc it's so cold. Neighbors are friendly but the people above us are either really loud or the apt has thin floor/ceiling sound proofing, I hear EVERYTHING from the heavy footsteps, down to the alarm clock at 6am. The place itself is nice, in a great location, and well maintained.

I have been a resident for about 3 months and so far, I have really enjoyed my time here. Management is very nice. Neighbors are also. I love the proximity to everything and it didn't take long to get used to the sound of the train outside my window :) Overall, a very nice community.

The building is nice. Compared to other apartment buildings at similar price points, the thin walls/floors of this building ensures you'll constantly hear impact noise from every neighbor, all of the time.

Great environment but I head the person above us on the 6th floor walk around. It shakes out whole apartment and something in the ceiling rattles around. Everythings else is great though. The gym is small but effective and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful.

This apartment has been great! No complaints at all. Walls are extremely thick and Ive never heard a neighbor. Lots of restaurants just a street over. Amenity are well kept up and clean. The train is also right across the street to get into the City quickly.

The apartments are beautiful. Very modern and I loved the black hardware on the cabinets. We saw an apartment on the train side and I was surprised how sound proof it was. You can still hear the train, but it’s not nearly as loud as I was expecting it to be. The amenities were clean and the outdoor deck with the pool looks like a resort! The staff was very nice and professional. They answered all my questions and I could tell they truly cared.

While The Marke did an excellent job making everything look perfect, there are serious issues with the constructions of the building. There is little to no sound proofing between units (neighbors and above) and the windows are very low quality and allow in cold air all winter causing extremely high electricity bills, even if you keep your unit at 65 degrees. The management team does not follow up with requests and it is extremely difficult to discard any items that aren't supposed to go in the trash chute. It is also rare for there to not be something broken, typically an elevator or an issue with one of the garages, which seems ridiculous for such a new building.
