I moved into this apartment when it was newly built in 2019 and have lived here for five years. The apartment is nice. For the most part, the community is nice and well-kept, and quiet although periodically there have been noisy neighbors. Maintenance has been responsive to the few issues I personally have had with my apartment, but there was apparently a pest issue in one of the other apartments in my building and there was zero communication from maintenance or management about what exactly the issue was or the extent, instead for 6 months I have randomly came home to a notice taped to my door once a month that the building was being treated "to resolve the issue" and was required to empty all of my kitchen and bathroom cabinets, that all persons and pets must vacate the apartment for the entire day, and that it was mandatory, and there was very short notice period to do all of this and to find somewhere to take my pet for the day. And no explanation of what the situation actually was or a plan of resolution, or what a proposed schedule would be. This has been very stressful not knowing what is actually going on and the short notice that I needed to prepare the apartment for these "treatments" has caused me to have to cancel plans and finding somewhere to take my pet on short notice has caused extra expenses for me. I have very much enjoyed living in this apartment up until last August when this situation arose. I still do not know exactly what is going on as there has been zero information or communication provided on the issue.

      I've enjoyed living here, you can hear your neighbors at times but it seems to go down around 10pm. The parking lots are cleaned from snow well and the grounds crew does a great job. I was happy rent didn't go up a lot this year.

        Great, just super cold in the winter due to the heat only going to 72 degrees. Security rides past just about every hour or so, which is lovely! I feel very safe live here and so plan on staying a bit longer until I am in a house. Thanks for everything.

        I have lived in the Preserves since 2019. I moved into The Preserves newly built. I like they are private & quiet. It's nice to have a garage connected and a full size washer and dryer. Only downfall there is no peep hole on door

          I have never had a problem that couldn't be fixed. Good service and pleasant office help. Love the upkeep of the grounds and it's general appearance. I do wish I could have a screen door on my first floor apartment. Thank you

            I enjoy the location, being close to both 131 and M6 and only minutes from Kalamazoo ave. I like the general safety here, I never feel afraid to be around the complex by myself or at night and never had any issues with packages or property. The community is quiet and generally friendly. My apartment is well kept but feels cheaply put together. I have carpet lines in weird places, my dishwasher leaks, my bathroom countertop was put on backwards, I never had a screen put on one of my windows, there is paint where there shouldn't be, etc. Obviously nothing detrimental, but rather annoying. The most frustrating part of the apartment itself is the lack of central air, the summer can be brutal, especially during the day. One of my biggest complaints is the lack of customer service, I find it hard to get in touch with the main office unless I physically go down and wait to talk to someone. My other complaint would be pricing, I got a decent deal for my first year but my renewal was very high. Overall, I've lived in this apartment on the reserve side for over a year and lived on the main side for about 5, so generally like living here.

              Overall a quiet community. Little to do besides the playground for kids. Within walking distance of pretty much every major retailer in the area. Attached garage is nice. High priced apartments with decent amenities, and stainless appliances.

              My first neighbor smoked pot inside and the smell would come in my apt through the bathroom now this new neighbor has some guy over random times of the night and he lights up right in front of my ring camera I don't care that people smoke pot but I don't personally do it and don't feel I should have to be affected by others doing it on a smoke free property

                There is not enough parking for residents or their guests. The heat can only go up to 72 and is not sufficient in the winter. There are no heat vents in the bathrooms and they are very cold along with the entire apartment.

                  The community is good, I really like the place but Woodfield needs to check and see who to bring in this community, to avoid noise and bad things to happen. People always smoke around the building, this needs to be corrected.

                    I've had great experience living in the preserve apts I love everything about my apartment the maintenance is great my appliances are great the neighbors are very respectful also friendly they make sure they clean up after there pets I see it all the time

                      I've had a few things go wrong in my apartment. Maintenance is hard to get a hold of. For the most part it's been quiet in this neighborhood. And for that i appreciate them. There are cars from other buildings parking in front of my building.

                        I like staying here. The apartments are spacious and up to date. What I don't like is the parking and the excessive frog situation in the summer. The master bedrooms are a very nice size. I wish the closet was a little bigger. I don't like the fact that the washer and dryer are in a space where everyone can see. Should have been by the garage door if you ask me.

                          Heat doesn't work suooisedly due to settings imposed by management...we have to use space heaters so we don't freeze. I air conditioner doesn't cool the whole place either.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

                            The amenities and space that you get for your money, is good. The fact that most of the utilities are included, is great. The gym membership is a bonus. However, the way property management/ the leasing office deals with multiple noise complaints of neighbors who are repeat violators, is disgusting and unsatisfactory. In the lease contract, it says that noise violations are taken seriously and the violators may be fined 50$ for each violation + multiple incidents will result in eviction. My upstairs neighbors have way more people than they are supposed to have, living there + two heavy dogs and multiple cars taking up parking spots (they even parked in my garage driveway so I couldn't access my own garage) and they have not been penalized. Living with extreme noise, loud music @ 1am every single night, 5 children running around, and 2 heavy dogs also running around upstairs and barking all day every day for the last 6 months, has been torture and not enjoyable or peaceful. I hope management can improve their processes moving forward because neighbors really make or break someone's LIVING experience at apartments.

                              The apartment is nice and I love the fact that it has a private entrance and garage, not to mention a washer and dryer in unit. But there are definitely signs of shotty work building this place . Random staples in door frames. Door frames with a inch of wood that doesn't make it to the bottom. Caulking and gives of glue not cleaned up baseboards not flush with the ground, allowing bugs to come in my 1st floor unit . Because of the use of sand and flaws in the concrete under the linoleum floors sugar ants have found their way in, here there and everywhere. In insulation around the front door and air conditioner is sub-par, letting in all kinds of air. These are my biggest complaints. I do like that there is security you can call if needed and the walls aren't paper thin. I don't hear anyone talking or their TV's. The apartments are nice but the workmanship in a number of areas is very disappointing.

                                Not the best experience with the front office staff, they come in late, uninterested in their jobs & unprofessional. Very unresponsive at times or take multiple times to finally get response. Unrealistic fee's in lease. The community neighbors seem nice and friendly! Uptick in thefts1 email sent out on basic things to do.

                                        Living at The Preserve at Woodfield has been fine. My building is nice and quiet, so that makes working from home easier. The walls are pretty thin though because I can hear when my downstairs neighbor is having a conversation. Maintenance is usually pretty quick. I only had one problem with my microwave, and they came and fixed it. I will say because the buildings were built so quickly, the buildings are starting to settle, so there's a lot of paint cracking and inside doors aren't closing all the way because of it. I do wish there was an intercom or something since it takes a minute to get from upstairs down to the main door, and it'd be nice to know who is at the door (there is not a peep hole). For safety I just don't answer the door at night. I do like that it's a personal entrance that I don't have to share with anyone. That makes me feel safer when I'm coming home at night in the dark. Overall it's a decent place to live.

                                          Good. Would love to see it a little more cleaner, and make sure the trash is off the ground around the trash bins, off the yards, parking lots. Snow and ice need to be properly moved at the time of snow. I almost slipped and fell on ice

                                            I have had a positive experience. I truly don't have any complaints and the leasing office staff have always been willing to work with me through certain situations. The complex is clean, rarely any noise complaints and it's quite.

                                              My apartment get really cold and due to the fact they only allow the heat to go only to 72 degrees I'm forced to have to use my oven and space heater. There is no heat in my stairway to the point you can see you breath on cold days. The face that the preserve is a new and just recently built they have done a very poor job with the construction
