Beware - don't move here.

This place is terrible. My place was broken into recently and it had to be someone with a key to my apartment. I have the two that were given to me once I got here and no one else. I called the office and was told to call the police. They came but nothing will happen. I asked about the cameras - I was told they don't work often and in the winter time they freeze up. I spoke to another neighbor who said his place was also broken into and he told the office but they took or him to call the police as well. He installed a camera and said he will be out of here soon as well. People are moving in and out of this place so fast I see why. I called corporate and was told break ins rarely happen but guess what the guy and I live in the same building and ours was broken into. In the back a lady said someone stole her son's bike - while it was locked and in the basement area. The gate in the front breaks down constantly, people cars were broken into, things stolen off their cars all at this place. They have cameras for decoration because they never catch anything or anyone. Beware of this place and if you decide to move here install your own cameras and never leave anything of value in here. It doesn't matter if you lock your door your place can still get broken into. If your looking for a nice place to live look elsewhere - this is not the place.

Bad management

Worse place to live in the buildings are not maintained right and there’s no emergency number if anything happens. I had a squirrel stuck in my wall because of their lack of checking on their roofs long story short I called they said they would take care of it after 48 hours of this animal being stuck it breaks out destroyed my apartment clothing and furniture and carpet all this because they weren’t able to get any contractor on time I dont know if they think we’re living in a forest but we might as well :) I cant wait to get out of this misery it is one of the most neglecting managements I had to deal with. Never ever move there!!!

The staff is extremely friendly. Whenever I needed to put in a work order they usually come take care of the issue the very next day. The apartment has come a long way since the past but it still gets bad rap. Unfortunately, that is how life goes. It takes a while to build a rep and one incident can ruin that rep. I highly recommend it, the neighbors are really friendly and the environment is family friendly.

I would never recommend this place to my worst enemy, it's dangerous as hell, the management is very rude, I've witness on numerous occasions shootings in the back of the complex YES shootings, and when brought to their attention they did nothing, in my one year stay my neighbors home was broken into 3 times, mine and 5 other vehicles like mine had all their wheels stolen overnight, there always suspicious people lurking in the night, and not to mention management robbed me of 560$ from my deposit from what they claim was a grease stain on the carpet which they did not have any proof of and it took then 5 months to hand me a check for 155$, I had to make 3 visits for that money, the first time as sent to a wrong adress, I gave them the correct one, a month later I went back and it was NOT sent, they promised it would be sent the next day and 3-4 months later I went in again and it was STILL in their drawer. Worst experience of my life.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!! Cherry hill manor LOST my rent payment and tried to make me repay them for that month. I'm not the only tenant this happen to. When it comes to handling rent payments they have no clue what they're doing. Candice in the office told me it wasn't a big deal and to just pay the money. Very rude staff and not willing to take ownership of they're mistakes.

This place f,ing sucks and only been here 1 month first week i move in the bathroom ceiling was leaking, than the carpet is dirty as ever, than they painted over every f,ing thing u can think of ..staff alright ...and then as im writing this i swear i just seen a roach and i haven't seen roaches since the 90's thats what made me write this review because im mad as hell STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE THEY CHARGE TOO MUCH FOR NOT SO GOOD APARTMENT PS .. I've lived at Cherry Hill for three years now, and we just moved from a one bedroom to a two bedroom. We like the two bedroom better because it's more open, whereas with our one bedroom, the living room and kitchen felt very cut off from the rest of the apartment. Because we were already residents, our rent didn't go up too much either (or they just have cheap two bedrooms to rent). Neighbors are quiety, and despite being near busy roads, there isn't too much traffic or noise that filters in.

The location is awesome and the process was smooth moving in BUT when I tell you I only lived here for a short period of time because BED BUGS were infested in my apartment. In the carpet and on the walls. The biggest problem is that they went to exterminate the bugs and they were still there and expected us to still pay a full months rent and continue to live there until they found a solution to get rid of them. They tried to blame the bugs on us which was horrible customer service and was cheap trying to get rid of the bugs which did not kill them. There was little petty things that were wrong and if the bugs would of never been there i would of said they are pretty okay but I can't because me and my room mate were attacked by bugs and not consoled or was it treated in a professional manner.

After all those crazy storms rolled through here, I was super glad to have my carport. Some of my friends didn't have their cars covered and had a lot of dents from hail and flying branches. It is a rentable thing, so you have to pay a little more with your rent, but it is totally worth it. You don't have to have one for your whole lease either. They just add it in.

Never notice any real issues with the staff. Sometimes the girls in the office get chatty with each other, but they eventually see the residents waiting. Clean apartments and landscaping.

I enjoy having free water and central air but I do wish I had a deck to be able to sit outside. The pool is nice in the summer time if not a little crowded. The bedrooms are large, with big closets too. Not a huge fan of my galley kitchen, but it gets the job done too.

Upon first look of Cherry Hill, I liked the no-nonsense flowers and bushes. Still enough to make the place not look bare, but not over the top. It's very utilitarian, and I like that about it. The staff in the office get the job done, though could be a little more friendly at the end of the day. We know it's a long day, but try to keep it chipper. Other than that, my rent is decently low, my utilities are next to nothing (especially since the water is free) and my neighbors aren't loud. It's a quiet, calm place that I would reccommend to anyone looking to rent an apartment in the area.

My mom wanted to sell the house after my father passed away because she said she didn't need the space. We had looked at a few places for her, but she insisted she wanted her own apartment. Cherry Hill Manor staff were nice to her and friendly, making sure she understood the policies and finer details of her lease. They found her a cute little one bedroom on the first floor so she didn't have to worry about stairs. I know she has some of the neighbors' wives come over for cards every once in a while, and she says she likes the grounds. They go for walks some times. I guess it keeps her young.

My family and myself haven't had any problems. I see a lot of drama on the below reviews. No place is perfect but if you are not a trouble maker this place fits for the good to any Regular Family.

THIS PLACE IS SOOO BAD... DONT MOVE IN!!! THE STAFF IS SOOO BAD... THE GIRLS ON THE WEEKENDED ARE SO NICE BUT THEN YOU HAVE TO IDEAL WITH 2 THAT WORK M-F !! Stop, seriously....DO NOT MOVE IN!!!!!.....Roaches come up thru the drains. I couldn't figure out how those nasty things were coming in my apt. I've never, in life had roaches.. I literally had to cover the drain so they wouldn't come thru and I had to keep the tubs train closed along with the bathroom sink drain. All 4 tenants in the building had them. Disgusting. The walls are super thin, you can hear everything. I had some type of rodent (squirrel, raccoon, something) crawling in my ceiling and in my wall.....The tenant downstairs use to beat the crap outta her husband....I knew all their business. My truck was broken into....they took the face of my radio, the basement is creepy. I left all my stuff in the cage when I moved because I was too scared to take it because of the Roaches.....Some 1 was murdered in the building across from me and guys drove thru the parking lot with music playing super loud after hours....and the manager is non caring...oh, did I say they had Roaches. They only spray the kitchen cabinets and the bathroom cabinets and around the baseboard. I saw 2 in my bedroom, 1 dead in my bedroom, 2 in the bathroom and 3 or 4 in the living room....total 14 in all before I got the hell outta there. They tell you not to spay anything else because it will counteract with what they use (that wasn't working)...The good points are: the staff is nice and so are the maintenance guys. the Grounds were kept up pretty good & they fixed whatever problem I had in a timely manner. the bad out weigh the good.....I wouldn't recommend that place to my dog. I am an international student at University of Michigan. I have been moving around to different apartment in the past four years. Believe me, you wont find any WORST place than here. The apartment self is ok overall. But the staff is very rude. Can't imaging how they got their job. I had to live in the apartment with two feet hole on the roof for two months! Every time rain, my entire apartment was wet. Seriously? I called in everyday to complain, and the manager was like: sorry, our contract was busy. Screw it! I can find a rood company and fix it in maximum one f**king week. I bet they just didn't have enough money to fix the roof and they had to wait until next month to got the rent and fix the damn roof. Don't live there, trust. I told every of my friends about this.

I've been here for the past two years and its nothing compared to the apartment I moved from. First the environment is very neat, the maintainace people act at the speed of light. The speed bump is high enough I wouldn't say its too high cos you have speeders living here. The ladys in the office are super nice so for y'all who go talking to them like they ain't human, I guess you get paid in ya who coin. BUT your rent is hiked by $30 each time you renew your lease which is sad but I don't blame them. Oh! Its a gated apartment with swimming pool and fitness center but the laundry room is in the basement which isn't bad. Highly recommended! So get in the line and get in! My neighbors are super nice but I see them once in a bluemoon.

The apartments are very clean and maintenance is good and free. We have a swimming pool and security gates. BUT do not move here because every time you renew your lease they raise up the rent AND the speeding bumps are sooooo annoying they're like a foot high!!! I literally had to change the struts on my car cuz of that!!

Don't Ever Live Here

Initially the place is Ok, till you run into the Manager and here Psychotic attitude. After a while, the place begins to smell, not forgetting the bug infestation and other problems. I wouldn't recommoned this place to my enemies. NO, NO.

This is an ok place.

I've been living here since February of this year I cant say I have many complaints.... There was 2 times when I had to call the office because of the hot water not working.. And they got in fixed within a few hours.. It was an inconvience but they got it fixed. The maintenance guys are fast with respond to your requests, The laundry room does creep me out a little.. I've never washed down there before. Other than that and the gates not working properly its not a bad place to live. Although i will be moving when my lease is up.

OK place to live.

This place is overall ok. I lived there for almost two years. They will offer you a low rent initially, then hike it up after the first term. My apartment had no problems initially, except the constant smell of really BAD cooking from the other tenants. Also, the washer and dryer were useless, as the other reviewers mentioned. The only other problems were that the dishwasher and toilet broke. The walls are thin, so be sure to check out who you are moving next to/above/below. The last 6 months I have heard the screams of the bratty two year old next door all day and through the night, and even in my dreams since I moved out. Don't expect to make friends here, as most of the people living here don't speak English. My roommate and I were both in school and working, and quiet most of the time, but if we invited more than two people over on a Friday or Saturday, the police were called on us for noise pollution, even if we were just watching a movie. Maintenance staff is hard-working and they do their best to handle complaints quickly. The office staff is rude, sloppy looking and unprofessional. The pool is nothing special, and the weight room is gross. For the price, you have to put up with a lot, but the overall look and feel of the place is comfortable and roomy. Parking reminded me of a sporting event parking lot, as I had to park a city block away from my apartment after 5 pm. Not worth the money, but the entertainment you see on a daily basis is hilarious. Family brawls, domestic disturbances, windows breaking and broken down cars are all a daily part of living at the MANOR. If you have a sense of humor, and don't take the situation too seriously, it's an alright place to live.
