Peter from the maintenance team is great and very personable. My garage lock was jammed one morning, and I was unable to submit a work order right away. Thankfully, Summit Square has an after-hours emergency line, and Peter was able to come out and fix it that same night. I really appreciated the quick response and the excellent service!

My Property Manager, [magda ], is the best. She works with you, she is great at communicating with you, and is very professional. I am very happy to stay at Summer square apartments it's convenient for me it's peaceful and that's all I really want is for a lot of peace the laundry room is right around from my apartment which is convenient for me right now the outside part they have a beautiful grounds on the outside and go outside and relax and enjoy myself it's about 5 minutes away from my job is convenient and I just get a lot of peace out of being here

Great maintenance issue response

Hi, my experience with summit square manager and their maintenance team has been very easy to work with and it was handled with no stress. My entire apartment toilet was replaced after showing the issue I was facing, I thought they would never do it. One of the big reasons why I decided to stay or renew my lease for another year. I would recommend joining summit square as a residence and their team is great help.

Perfect First Home for Us

Summit Square provided a wonderful first home for my husband and me after we got married! It was quiet, clean, and the apartments are bright and spacious (even the 1-bedroom ones)! We really appreciated how professional, yet also personable and friendly Magda was! We highly recommend these apartments!

My experience has not been a good one. I've had hundreds of dollars stolen in packages because there is no safe place for them if they do not fit in your tiny mailbox or if the main office is not open. I've had my car broken into. I've had to park on the street even though I pay for a parking space because parking is not enforced. There have been drug deals and domestic disputes at midnight right outside my bedroom. Neighbors that scream at each other and stomp around all day and night. One time there were cops in and all around the building looking for someone at six in the morning. People treat the parking lot as their own personal garbage. These are good apartments in the technical sense, but the people here leave much to be desired.

I love living here. The maintenance crew always solves requests within 24 hours and does an amazing job, the office employees are friendly and ready to help of there is an issue, email's are responded to quickly, and the entire complex is quiet. I can sometimes hear my neighbors, especially the down stairs ones, and even though it is a non-smoking building there is someone who is very obviously smoking indoors, but overall, this is a wonderful place to live and it feels safe while still being affordable.

I really enjoyed being in this community for over two years, and the location is great! The people who work here really care about the community and the people who live here. Every time I had a maintenance request they were at my apartment within minutes to hours and always got things taken care of. The people who work in the office were exceptional and very knowledgeable about all the company policies and different communities in town. It was nice to live somewhere that they knew my family and me as people, not just tenants, and seemed genuinely concerned that we were having a good living experience. It's also in a good location with a big soccer park and playground just across the street and a 24-hour hy-vee within a 5-minute walk.

The maintenance team completed my work order within 48 hours & corrected all issues and resolved my problems. Maintenance team is awesome. My upstairs neighbor above me is very, very noisy:-( They seem to lack awareness that someone lives above and below them and that this is not a single-family dwelling. People seem to be throwing trash on the ground; not in trash cans and not disposing of pet waste. Almost stepped on dog feces while picking up trash on playground. Also, the neighbors seem to empty trash in cans in front and back of building and not at the communal trash dumpster. My children and grandchildren visited last weekend and I had to clean up the trash thrown in the playground before I wanted them to play. In addition, smokers are smoking right at the front or back doors so I have to breath the smoke to enter the building. These are minor annoyances. Just shows a lack of concern for others.

I had a wonderful experience renting at Summit Square. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. The few times I needed something repaired, the maintenance crew was quick to assist and complete my request. They kept us up-to-date on what was happening with our apartment complex, and always forewarned us if there was going to be cleaning or anything happening outside (they posted notices for us a few days in advance so we knew to close our windows or park on the street). I was able to have my dog in the apartment, which was fantastic! They provided us with doggie clean up bags, so I never had to worry about finding something to clean up after my pet with. The walls were a tad thin, but this never caused too many problems for me as the neighbors were all courteous as well. I had a wonderful renting experience with them, and would definitely recommend them to someone looking to rent!

I've enjoyed living here @ Summit Square for many years. I feel safe, the staff is available, except on Sundays, and space within the complex and outside is consistently well kept. If I have a maintenance problem I can call them at any time. Summit Square has a dog park and I've made many friends hanging out in the dog park, even though I own a cat. The staff, including maintenance is happy to help me with any question or concern. Each floor has a laundry room with several machines available and a large wash tube. I highly recommend Summit Square.

Good Apartment, But the walls are very thin you can hear anything your neighbor is doing. The hole ways are not always clean and sometimes suffocating. The apartment is very wide and has lost of room for furniture and decoration which is very nice. Safety is good but there has been some incidents recently where several parked cars window was broken. The maintenance is good if you need small things fixed, but moderate maintenance, like leaking pipe, takes long to get addressed. The Staff are nice but very nu-professional.

This place has been absolutely wonderful to live in. I have lived here for 2.5 years and have never had a complaint. They are always quick to fix any maintenance issues and the staff is always friendly. I would recommend anyone to live here.

I've lived at Summit Square for about a year now and I really like it. I live in what's called a "Two Bedroom Deluxe," and the master is huge. Like, just huge. I don't have enough furniture to fill it. The second bedroom is pretty standard; we use it as a computer room. There's definitely ample closet space and I feel like I have enough room to live. The only 2 downsides to this apartment are the counter space and the air conditioner, but we get along fine. We've had to become creative with our cooking and storage of dishes (that storage closet comes in handy for that breadmaker and pizza oven we got last Christmas!) and I'm sure the only reason we have problems with cooling in the summer is because we're on the 3rd floor. We may buy a stand alone room conditioner for next year. As for maintenance and office staff, they're great. I love the head maintenance guy; he's just hilarious and is always ready and willing to help get things fixed for you. Office staff are very friendly, too. They remember my name when I come in and the manager even helped me get a job when I first moved here and didn't know anybody! Overall, I really do enjoy living here. We got a wall painted for free when we moved in because we signed a longer lease, so my living room matches my decor. My neighbors are friendly when I see them in the hallway or in the parking lot, but I hardly ever hear them. It's a good place to call home.
