These two White Pines buildings have seen a couple of different owners over the years I've lived here. Whenever there's a change in ownership the upkeep and repairs deteriorates but the rent increases.

Not enough amenities for the price, overpriced on the garages. Prices keep going up but they don't upgrade anything for the prices. It is close to almost everything. You pay for everything here as far as utilities, apartment pays nothing.

It is ok. It's hard sometimes when people leave the doors jammed or stuff in the doors as too many people don't have keys. It's a decent community to live in. I've lived here for years. Just wish I'd get my apartment updated.

Very mediocre after the first year. This place changed management/owners two or three time in a matter of three years. Rent continues to go up but, nothing changes. Current management seems to be trying to improve this property though.

Pros: Convenience for any shopping centers, in all aspects The Car wash directly in back of the complex; offers approximately 3$ for 3 mins, per cycle. Large living room & Balcony, very small closet space for both one & two bedrooms (Don't move in more than 5 suits, 5 coats, and 8 pair of shoes) It's Very Quiet and safe Cons: Under New Management (spring of 2019), ------------------------------------------------------------------ -------. (I do have a degree in Psychology) Lease violations are issued for minor intrusions; Example: I got one for dropping my Sally's Beauty Coupon in the hall while rushing to work at 6 am. Don't worry, you will only get one if your Female, --------------------------------------------------------, professional and successful ( as, she targets, her competitors'), or ----------, and of an selected nationality that differs from her -------- Culture. I'm a victim of harassment. Garbage, Garbage, and garbage, raw salvage, all types of furniture, left "OUTSIDE OF THE DUMPSTER", great accommodations for mice and rats looking for winter residence. Roaches, I never seen one in the year I've been here until Oct/ 29/2019. I off my second job, turned on the lights, around midnight and one was crawling out the kitchen sink drain. Very disturbing, I purchased all night furniture, when I moved here, totaling over 10,000, in cash. The laundry facilities, "Only if they truly looked as they do in these advertisements", for over 7 months on the second floor, only 1 washer out of 4 works, and 2 dryers out of 4. The filtration system in the back of the dryers is completely disconnected, therefore all the lent particles, fabric softener particles, and heat, blows into the hall. Harmful if you or your children have chronic respiratory ailments, such as me. The backs walls are covered in thick black dust, dirt, grime, lent and soot. All this to say, White pines is expensive, but extremely unhealthy, unsanitary, and mentally stressful for the rental price. The turnover rate is extremely high in the 1324 building, I'm not sure about the others., therefore skip national night out, because your neighbors, will probably be there for an extremely short about of time.

Horrible place unless you can't afford much. Kids running around in the halls and their homes at all hours. Do not expect any peace and quiet. Do expect your apartment to shake. Floors and ceiling are thin. The main door is constantly propped open and often doesn't even lock. Parties in apartments are often and there's nothing you can do about it. Quiet hours begin at 10:00 but nobody follows it. The trash bins in the parking lot are always overflowing and trash is always scattered around the area which makes for a very gross environment. You have to pay for parking in the lot, even if you don't have a garage. They will tow your car if you don't have a sticker in your window saying you've paid, even if you are a resident. They will not give you notice. You'll walk out and your car will be gone. If you have a garage but want to be able to park in the lot at any time you have to pay for your garage space and the sticker to park in the lot. So you have to pay twice. Garage is $50, parking space is around $30. No garage door openers. Visitor parking is far from the main entrance of the building.

I've been at White Pines for about 9 months and I have enjoyed my stay here! The staff is always very friendly and helpful, maintenance is usually right on it when something needs to be fixed and I live on the 3rd floor corner so noise has never really been an issue! Overall very happy with my first year here!

I would highly recommend White Pines Apartments in Shakopee. They are located in a very convenient place, close to grocery stores. Apartments have cozy floor plan. Rooms are clean. Office staff is friendly and responsive. Nice gym is a big plus in a bad weather. If you request to fix anything in your apartment, they do it very fast and qualitatively. Good place to live!

I have lived here two years and I am very happy with this complex. The maintenance staff is very prompt and happy to fix anything, which happens very rarely. I feel safe and the building is pretty quiet. I really love how the management keeps improving the grounds and buildings to keep things looking nice. I definitely recommend this complex.

I've lived at White Pines for 2 years now - the longest I've lived in one apartment building. The office staff is friendly, the apartments are really nice, the maintenance staff is very quick and efficient at fixing things if something goes wrong. In the 2 years I've lived here, I've barely had to use maintenance because things just don't seem to break here. I highly recommend this apartment building!

We have satisfactory ratings at best. Everything is average or mediocre. We understand kids running around is part of an apartment building, but the music and bass that comes from inside the homes everyday is loud and inconsiderate. Smoking inside the halls and directly next to the front door is illegal and a contradiction to the website's promises. Trash through the halls and parking lot collects in visible areas. Staff is rarely in the office which leads to packages not getting delivered. The only great review we have is the maintenance staff, they get on issues quickly.

We enjoy it.
I have not been here for long, but so fay we enjoy it. The apartment is spacious, i love the location and the people who live here are friendly. I have to say there are way too many children but i guess its part of living in an apartment building. The building and specially laundry rooms are always clean. So far i am happy with my apartment.

wonderful if you like your cars towed
I have lived here for the last 12 months. once my car which had a sticker on was towed illegally. Three of my family members have also had their cars towed when the management changed parking area without notifying the resident. the management must be getting kickbacks from the towing company PRS...many other residents have had the same fate fall on them. Don't live here..

Excellent place to live.
Great location and space for the $$$. The office is staff is polite, pleasant and most of all helpful. The maintenance crew is exceptional. Most all problems are rectified the same day or next day reported. We have been living here almost 3 years and are very happy. Overall a great place to live!!!

One of the best apartments in town!
I love my apartment and neighbors, they are all friendly and I love the fact my children get along with other kids. The reason why I chose White Pines was because of price, location and because I was able to have two accent walls in my apartment, i never been able to paint my apartment before.

Nice Apartment
I have been living at white pines for the last 8 months and I absolutely love it. I only had couple of maintenance stuff to get done and they were resolved in the next two days. I have nothing to say but good stuff about the apartments and management. My only issue sometimes are children playing around.

great apartment
White Pines is a very good apartment. It's very spacious & well kept. The manager, ------- isn't the most helpful, but the other guy that works there is good. They're a little slow to fix things, but there aren't too many problems. There's lots of parking and it seems to be a pretty safe area. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice apartment.

unbeleivable!!!
I am living @ white pines apartments & absolutely cant stand it... I hate coming home. My apartment is generous in size & i have it very cozy in here but leave the apartment & its total crap. some of the other tenants are absolute peasants. The halls are always littered with food & trash. The fire alarms have gone off several times because the same tenant keeps setting their kitchen on fire, cant believe they havent been evicted for safety reasons. I moved here sept 09 & from nov 1st to mid january i had 28 days with no heat!! ------ the maintenance is a great guy & very helpful & i enjoyed dealing with --------- but -------------- fired her. NOW,,,dealing with -------------- is an exercise in futility & she is the manager. Nasty, snotty little you know what! after all the crap i have dealt with here she turns around & has my vehicle towed from the parking lot so they can plow. I used to get a notice posted in my door & have always moved my vehicle as per her instructions but i recieved no notice this time til i left for work & their towing my vehicle. She is the rudest, most unprofessional person i have dealt with in a long time. I am so outta here!!!! Thank you --------- for the get outta lease free card LOL

If you get suckered in to living here that sucks! ------- is a very "charming" person when you looking at the apartment but then after you move in she sinks her teeth into you. She flirts with my husband, right as he was walking out of our apartment she asked him if she looked good? What is that, little did she know I was standing in the apartment trying to walk out after him. On top of that, she is rude, never in the office. THe apartments are nice dont get me wrong. I loved it when I saw it, but half of my neighbors and I can't stand living here due to the fact that the management is so horrible. Stuff does not get fixed in my apartment , I have gone a total of 26 days with out heat in my apartment and they just dont seem to care. If you wanna live with some nasty person telling you when to jump then please move in, but we are doing the buy out option of our lease because I don't even like coming home to this place. Oh they accept packages on your behalf but good luck trying to get them SHE is never in the office during the week and good luck now that there isn't a second office staffer, she isn't there on Saturdays!!!!! I HATE LIVING HERE!!!!
