Great amenities. Poor maintenance practices. Poor issue resolution. Everything receives a bandaid versus repair. We had mold as a result of a leak. The drywall was allegedly replaced (no work order history) and not post repair testing performed to ensure issue addressed.

So far so good. I really enjoy my apartment and the location. I have had pretty good experience with the few maintenance issues I have had and they have gotten taken care of super fast. Overall recommend it here.

Everything about the community is wonderful and I enjoy living here. The exception is the ridiculous distance it is for me to take out my garbage. I have to drive my car. It is surprising to me that this beautiful community doesn't have better gabage solutions.

left a bad taste
After two years there, I would say it was a nice place to live, however the way we left was not the best impression. We have never been late or missed a payment; in fact, we have paid the $300 pet deposit in addition to $15 a month for the pet in question. What does the deposit go toward? They now claim that we have pet stains on the carpet, which is untrue, since we departed. Never once has our dog urinated on the carpet. When the carpet is lifted, they discover a tiny stain that is not consistent with coming from a dogāour medium-sized dog would leave a very large pee mark if she had an accident. They now demand $350 from us for a tiny space beneath the carpet pad. I am disappointed.

Excellent-I love it here- it's great. Close to a nature reserve- lots of walking/biking trails-neighbors mind their own business-secure property(locked hallways, 24 hour security patrol.) vaulted ceilings,.

Great community that close to shops, restaurants, stores and offers wonderful amenities. Apartment is wonderful and feels like a home even after living in a house for over 40 years. There is no size limit on pets and some renters have very large and noisy pets that you can hear.

I've lived here since 2020. In 2023 I moved to a bigger apartment. I love the space, the community and the fast service we receive when it comes to maintenance requests. The only "bad" part about the apartment, is the price. I believe that seniority in this community should be considered when it comes to increasing the rent pricing.

For the most part it has been a great experience. I think biggest issues were around communication and inconsistencies of it. Such as pool closings (Not because of glass or animals but because of "scheduled Maint), or inconsistencies with the new insurance platform communication, and so forth.

I like it! Maintenance is great. My only complaint is that I can't make partial payments online. I want to pay twice a month without going to the office staff. I also think the trash situation is horrible and needs to be fixed.

Nice accommodations and amenities. The apartment is spacious, good storage, in unit washer and dryer and upgrades like lightning, appliances, flooring and granite countertops. They are quick to answer any service calls. Convenient to restaurants, grocers, etc.

I love apt and view. I dislike that bulletin board is only updated 3 times a year - makes it useless. It's insane that fire detector battery beeping on 15 foot ceiling isn't emergency work when it means going without sleep in your own home.

It's quiet, Peaceful, Lots of entertainment around close to the highway not too far from an emergency room or hospital. All food restaurants are near.It is very enjoyable, A nice eventful pool setting.

I am very happy at the Denton. It is beautiful, safe and clean. I appreciate that the noise level is very low. The staff in the leasing office is always helpful and friendly! Overall I am very pleased.

Great maintenance experience, very timely and efficient. Quiet neighborhood, no loud music or noises. A very pet friendly neighborhood, the dog park is nice and big. Lots for them to do and even some toys for them to play with.

I moved here 9 years ago. At the time, the community was quiet, safe, and well-managed. Seven buildings and the manager knew pretty much everyone on a first name basis. Fast forward 9 years and my rent has increased almost 50%, crime in the community is the worst it has ever been, and I have absolutely no idea who the manager is. I wouldn't call the community bad relative to other areas of KC, but it has gone significantly downhill since 2015. Management and staff have little relationship with the tenants, rent is through the roof, MAA continues to make costly decisions (like purchasing other communities or building additional ones) which they transfer to tenants via increased rent, cars are broken into, cars are stolen, guns have been fired on the property, all the garages in multiple buildings have been broken into with property stolen. All that and each of the last couple years the office has demanded triple digit rent increases.

Neighbors can be a little bit loud at times, and the staff seem hard-pressed to deal with situations like "people are smoking nearby but we can't say who specifically since the entire hallway stinks", but otherwise it's been pretty okay.

Great place to live. Ouinten is a really fine manager. Lobby girl's Makayla and Robin are knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and fun. Travis is really great maintenance supervisor always helpful and friendly. Steve is a very fine maintenance tec. Morgan and Matt all ways helpful. Really good people are the whole staff and well lead.

I am overall satisfied with The Denton. There has only been a few occurrences that have very much displeased me based on where we live and what we pay to live here and that nothing was done about it. There comes a point that more has to be done about the accountability of these non residents using our gym, tanning, and pool hot tub.

Very pleased with the property and the very professional staff. Maintenance is extremely good. Pet noise is a nuisance. The staff responds quickly but pet owners need to be more responsible. day-t0-day maintenance is great. Michael, our building maintenance man is fantastic. Quentin and the entire office team are the best.

The location is excellent with shopping, dining very close, and highway access is convenient to all areas to KC Metro. The leasing staff is professional and friendly. When maintenance has been needed, they have quickly responded & resolved all issues. Probably most important, The Denton just feels like "home."

Overall the community has been pleasant. It's located in a nice area and the staff has been helpful throughout everything that breaks within the community and my own unit. With that being said, it does seem like things break pretty often.
