Overall, I have a had a great experience living here with my husband and two children. The staff is great, friendly and prompt! Maintenance staff is always so kind and work with my schedule to ensure I am home when they come. They are very knowledgeable and are available for emergency situations outside business hours without complaint. I love the added perks of the Amazon Hub for packages, the coffee and tea bar in the club house and all the open ares for my kiddos to run around and play! If I could change anything it would be to have on site recycling! I highly recommend The Hills!

    We have lived at The Hills KC since June 2018. The Hills have been an absolute gem! The apartments are beautiful, clean, updated and well-maintained! The office staff is amazing! The maintenance staff is very quick to act on any service requests, big or small. The amenities here are fabulous - club house, fitness center, pool, bbq area, dog park, and the list goes on! The Hills KC is close to shopping, very safe and with the winter we just had, you never have to worry about them not clearing the sidewalks, driveways or parking lots! They are on top of everything! WE LOVE THE HILLS!!!!

      Here's the low down on this place! Pros: - Maintenance is speedy quick when it comes to any problems I have encountered. - I've never had a problem with the management, and they always return my emails ASAP! - I get to have my dog! And there are plenty of stations around the property that provide bags, so I don't have to supply my own. - The pool is a great amenity, and I've never experienced it to be over-crowded. - My neighbors are really nice, and understanding. - My two bedroom is pretty spacious! I love having two bathrooms. Plus, the rate I pay for my space is a pretty great price! - Especially since my commute downtown for work is only about 10 minutes! - Appliances are great! I haven't had any problems with them. - The Hills Apartments have really made an improvement, and that's saying something since I moved in less than a year ago. Cons: - I didn't know this when I first moved in, but it used to not be smoke-free. It's a pretty recent transition, and you sometimes get a whiff of the smoke due to residents who have been there for awhile. But they are transitioning to make it more enjoyable! It's really not a huge issue I face, and the encounters happen very rarely. - Right inside each building could use a little love. They used to have those Glade Plug-ins in the outlets, wish they would bring those back! Made it feel a little more "home-y". Overall, these apartments were a great choice for my first home! I have my own space, it's private, the location is prime, and I haven't had any major issues. I would definitely recommend!
